  • A: As an engineer who inspects sewage treatment plants, the certified operators say emphatically DO NOT FLUSH flushable wipes. They have shut down nursing homes who consistently refused to comply.

  • A: There are a lot of things that are technically flushable (anything small enough to) but that doesn’t mean they should be flushed. Besides plumbers saying don’t do it, there has been at least onewhole segment on a national news show (I forget which one) on why flushable wipes should not be flushed.

    It seems like I can never find where the wipe starts or ends, they are a thinner ply than my toilet paper, and they always tear apart before I can actually get them out of the package. The only time I can get them to work is if the wipe is centered perfectly and I can pull two wipes at a time lest I poke a hole directly through to my bhole.

    Quality changed

    I’ve used this Target brand up and up flushable cleansing wipes in the past. I had a gift card to use and needed to stock up on wipes so I decided to buy it, it’s been over a year or so since I’ve used them and the quality is nothing to what it used to be. It’s not as thick and durable as I remembered. However the pros about it being thin is it’ll probably make it easier to flush. It’s not rough, no irritation to the skin, and it’s moist. Not sure if I’d purchase again. Maybe it’s a hit or miss but I did buy two boxes that come in 8 packs each box.
