Fair price compared to similar thermostats. Rectangle style similar to standard thermostats, making it more possible to cover the same footprint on the wall. Display is easy to use, stays lit, making it easy to read in the light and an added convenience seeing it in the dark. Screen color options add a nice touch. Easy to install, just make sure you understand the wire requirements. The installation instructions are adequate for a DIY. It is easy to program and make temporary adjustments on the fly. I highly recommend this product!

My A/C unit is a 4 year old Trane. I went through 2 other name brand thermostats that failed internally within 2 years each. I then purchased the recommended Honeywell Thermostat, June 2025. I wish I purchased this 4 years ago. My home has equal temperature throughout the house and more importantly, the humidity is consistently in the mid 50% range. The other thermostats fluctuated with the outside Humidity making the house feel uncomfortable.

This thermostat is keeping our home much more comfortable. The setting to cycle the fan additionally between AC cycles is keeping the 1st and 2nd floor rooms a more consistent temperature throughout the day and night. I'd like access to more of the settings thru the cell app, but can at least do the basics. Also the screen backlight settings sometimes takes on a mind of is own, but straightens out as soon as you tap the screen.

It does what it's supposed to do. Turns the system on and off. Nothing fancy and relatively featureless. There are other choices available in the same price range that give much better control and provide helpful and interesting data such as daily and monthly system hourly usage with reports emailed to you. Some track usage down to the hour, which may be helpful in programming the thermostat for better efficiency.

Does what is claimed and seems to work okay but could have a few more features to make it better such as work with Apple home app. Probably better if have a full system with air conditioning but does work with a simple system too. Okay to program but a little confusing to get the app and get started, once you have the app and the right app it gets better.
