Pretty good.
It's got the mapping skill of a r00mba, and the vacuum power of the sh@rk, so it's the one I decided to stay with after trying all 3 brands. I run it daily but it still leaves clumps of fur when it moves onto a rug. There is no way to program it to not mop the rugs, or to stop peeling rug edges up. Which is fine because the mopping feature is worthless. Even with a full tank and running on high water flow, I still need to mop after it so I don't even use the mop feature.

First Ever Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The Roborock Q8 Max+ is the first Robot Vacuum Cleaner we ever purchased, and I love it. The pattern when cleaning is exact, and the mapping is great. The app is pretty intuitive and easy to use. You can create NO GO zones, which really helps. It is very important that you keep objects like cords, toys and other objects clear, or they will get jammed in the rollers. The good news is that it’s easy to remove the rollers and clean the unit. I guess my only beef is the mopping, which frankly does an “ok” job, but I wouldn’t depend on it to keep your floors spotless. I bought it primarily for vacuuming, and for that, it’s terrific. You can shut off the water dispensing if you like, but I keep my water level up because it does clean some spots. I’m considering buying another one for my vacation property.

It’s only been a week, but this vacuum is great! I have a dog and a few cats and it’s done the job nicely! Mapping is a breeze! I’ve had other robot vacuums (years ago) and the bugs appear to be worked out and the newer models are great!

Great with carpets but missing key feature!
The vacuum does a great job with carpets. However its unable to detect and vacuum high pile carpets as its unable to climb in those areas. Would have been a perfect 5 stars if the robot had that functionality.

Fantastic cleaning
Amazing! I have bought and returned other products as they just don’t work well. I have had this a few weeks. We have 2 cats and dark vinyl floors. Despite daily hoovering dust bunnies were a nightmare. This robot hoover cleans magnificently! It also cleans in a logical manner. Spots aren’t missed. Excellent object avoidance so if you want a quick clean and don’t have time to remove things from the floor, it works it out. You can choose the rooms or do a full clean. Haven’t tried mopping function yet. I love that it self empties (a little loud like a large hoover for a few seconds) and would recommend getting that option. I waited for a few months researching and reading reviews. Ultimately extremely happy I paid the extra and got this. We call her Mrs Doubtfire and she is amazing!

Defective unit
It took less than a month for this unit to give me a Fan Error. I am suspecting it was defective or if can’t handle fine dirt that gets dragged into my house by small children. That first month of use was amazing though! I wish it would have worked out. The mapping and navigating was very smart and efficient. It knew how to move on and off of thin rugs that don’t tend to lay flat. It had great suction and adjusted for more suction on rugs. I can’t comment on the mopping part because I knew it was going to be too ineffective in our house of kids and pets. I noticed that if you don’t empty the unit into the base the filter does get clogged. It got clogged once and it completed a whole run without detecting that the waste wasn’t moving the robot reservoir.

Very impressed with the machine/vacuum and happy we purchased it.
I have had the small robot vacuum and all was good but this machine is awesome!!. Works well and definitely like having the automatic empty option. Works well. At first the machine seems a little loud but now accustomed to the noise it makes.

Easy to set up and actually vacuums very well. I haven't used the mop function yet but hopeful it works just as well. It mapped the home and nothing damaged due to the bumper on it. Surprisingly it also gets debris in the corners. Highly recommend!

Clean Multiple floors
My son gave me as a house gift and it’s the best so far that I have used. I had a few others but this one provides an accurate mapping of the house, zoning capability and it cleans individual room before moving to the next space. It mops well too. You get to see where it is during the cleaning and it charges quickly. Would definitely recommend and a must to have if you r having physical issues
