Saalt Reusable Menstrual Disc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This disc was much more comfortable to use than the cup that I have been using for years (and was looking to replace). However, I had a hard time removing it every time. After a long day of work, that was not at all pleasant or comfortable. I'm still deciding whether or not I will use this product regularly. I also had a small amount of leaking so I'm just not sure if it's worth the learning curve or the stress of it being stuck.

All my life I've been using pads and I was completely fed up with the leaking, sizing issues, constant changing, prices, and irritation-- with a disc, I have basically none of that. While it does take extra effort to put in/take out, and leaks a drop or so a few times a day, I find the pros far outweigh the cons. I dont even feel it when its in (which was incredibly shocking) and can finally sleep peacefully without worrying about leakage. I look forward to my next cycle now because life is just easier with my disc. Admittedly, its not all sunshine and rainbows, but that can be attributed to my own body, not the product itself. But all in all, I am genuinely happy with my disc, far happier than I ever was with pads. I am SO GLAD I made the switch. And so is my wallet :]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used cups in the past and figured changing to a bowl shape would be easy. I was unable to get it positioned and open up and when I tried to use my finger to hook onto the divot to remove it would slip. I had to fish it out with three fingers and with the help of my pelvic floor muscles. I watched a few videos to see what I did wrong and I just couldn’t get it. I can’t recommend this since I was unable to get it to work after a few tries. This thing is huge by the way, I have no idea how this is meant to expand in me. This was truly a bloody mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It felt really big. I had trouble inserting it, and it did not open fully. This is the first day of my period. I am not sure how it will be until morning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got to use the disc and went into it knowing it would be trial and error. After a few tries I realized that it was still leaking but I believe it is because the disc would move down after being tucked behind the pubic bone. At first I thought it was user error but I believe that the disc is too big. This bummed me out because I really want it to work but am nervous to spend money on another one in case the same thing happens.

Recently, I just could not stop the leaks and always have to wear period underwear as a back up. I only had one period so far with my new Saalt Disc but I had NO LEAKS at all! Even considering having to learn how use the disc, it still kept me leak-free! I had ordered two pairs of salt. Underwear as well, and even though I didn’t need them as back up, I have to say they are the most silky, comfortable, invisible - feeling underwear. I kinda wanna wear Saalt underwear all the time as my normal underwear. Very happy with my purchases.

Company claims to help or else refund money . They reached out to me only once and after that no help and no refund provided. Worst experience of mine .
