As someone who struggled endlessly
As someone who struggled endlessly with leakage and trouble inserting my cup, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of my disk. I got it in correctly the first time and every time since. I’ll definitely never go back. Taking it out does have a slight learning curve, but it’s totally worth it.

Actually contained my heavy flow (for a wedding!! thank god!)
I have a super heavy flow, and I always bleed through super tampons quickly, and period underwear has been hit or miss for me. I was looking for something I could use and have peace of mind that I could be ok for a few hours. . I used to have a menstrual cup, but it would always creep way up to my cervix and the suction made it extremely difficult to remove. It just didn't work for me. So I figured I'd try the disc! When my period came, I was upset because it came a few days early, right before my friend's wedding. I knew my flow would be miserable to deal with during the event, and I had to wear a thong with my nice dress, which left little room for backup beyond a panty liner. Gah, the anxiety! The stakes were high. The day before the wedding, I put it to the test. Insertion of the disc was way easier than I anticipated. Though I think the first time or two, I inserted it wrong because when I tried to pee, nothing came out! Which was an uncomfortable sensation. But then I finally got it down, I could wear the disc and pee just fine. The test run seemed to go well. For the wedding, I decided to risk it and use the disc, and had NO ISSUE. No leaks, and I wore it for about 8 hours. It was glorious! I'm so happy to have found something that contains my heavy flow so I can just be present and not constantly worry about going to the bathroom to change tampons/pads. I hope it continues to work for me!

Period game changer
I have the small menstrual disc. It took a little practice to get good at inserting it and being able to tell if it was in correctly. It also can get a little messy removing it, but SO WORTH IT. I have a tendency to leak with tampons and wanted something that would provide me the freedom to be on the go without worrying about leaks. The disc achieves that! I can go swimming, be active, and be out and about without any leaks whatsoever. I feel so fresh and clean throughout the day and can’t even feel the disc, which makes it even better. I’ve never tried a cup, so can’t compare, but the disc has my vote.

Immediately Yes
I’m an immediate convert! I bought the smaller size disc, dispute having had babies, because I’m extremely petite (4’11”) and have been told as much about my lady bits by my obgyns after said babies. Turns out that was a good fit for me! The first time I used the disc was the first day of my period, which is the heaviest day for me. I wore period underwear just in case, but I would have been fine with just a liner. It went in pretty much like a tampon, though I did have to learn how to keep it folded as I went, which was easy enough. If you can insert a tampon, you can insert this! Then I went on my way to teach all day and wore it for ten hours, checking occasionally to make sure I was still good. And I swear that I actually felt better; not just more comfortable but also less crampy! And so dry, like I was not on my period at all! It didn’t leak at all, though I did have just a little residual blood in my underwear from inserting it and checking it, so the next day I wore a liner. But by then I had already improved on putting it in and also wasn’t trying to unnecessarily check it all day, so the liner stayed completely clean on day 2! Taking it out was also a breeze, worlds better than a tampon that didn’t absorb enough, if you know what I mean! At first I tried to just hook my finger and pull it out, but quickly realized I needed to bear down to push it out enough for me to pull it out. I emptied it in the toilet and wrapped it in tp and kicked my husband out of the bathroom so I could come out of the water closet and wash and reinsert it for the night. The wash was great and I felt like it was clean and fresh for reuse. I will add that the silicone material was smooth and comfortable, easy to put in and pull out. And now that I’ve done it, I know it will be a much easier routine than period underwear alone, tampons, cups, or anything else I’ve tried over the years. I’m so happy for my daughter that there are innovative women out there creating period products that meet our needs so much better than when I was a kid! Thank you!

Love it
The dial has been amazing. I still wear a pad just in case, which has come in handy, but it could also just be me getting used to the disc.

Quality-- love the ease of removal!
A quality item that I switched to after my Saalt cup wasn't doing what I needed it to do. It was my first time ever using a disc, but I got fairly well-adjusted to it during my first menstrual cycle using it. I think it'll be just the thing that I need! Unlike my Saalt cup, I felt safe using the Saalt disc when lifting in the gym (i. e. deadlifts) and pushing even when on my period. Overall I'm happy with my decision. Will update as I learn things!

Leaks
I tried the small and large version, and both leak. Wouldn’t recommend this product.

Game Changer
I started using this product after having used the mensural cup. This was recommend as I now have an IUD. I was skeptical at first but I gave it a whirl and was not disappointed. Where other products have let me down in terms of leaks and easy of use, this product beat everyone! I even put it to the leak test of riding my horse during a heavy day and nothing! The comfort, ease, and dependability has me sold and dare I say, I'm actually looking forward to the next time I get to use it. 10/10!

Small saalt disc
Much easier for me, personally, to use. I am not sure if the reason is because of a possible low cervix (thank you customer service for helping me learn) or because of stretched, thin vaginal area post child birth. Either way the disc has been much easier to comfortably keep in place and use. I may need to upgrade to the next size for heavier flow days. Otherwise this has been less stressful than the cup was for me. Again this is 100% personal experience because I can also see how the cup is less messy to insert and remove, and it could possibly hold more during heavier days of the cycle.

good concept just wish there was no dye
I wish it didn't have a dye, I had an allergic reaction to the dye. my doctor actually recommended this brand. so after 2 days of use when I had a rash I immediately stopped using it. it tended to rotate in me so the finger pull wasn't in the right spot. but if you're not allergic to silicone when it's dyed I recommend using a disc. I use another company also available at Target without a dye, no issue.

Good instructions
I've tried other discs in the past and they have not worked out. The Saalt disc was much easier to figure out with a faster learning curve. The instructions were very helpful. It is so much more comfortable than the cup.

No leaks
I have been using a cup for the past 8 years with frequent leaking. I did not have any leakage with this disc! I am pleasantly surprised. I do have difficulty with removal, but I expect this will get easier with practice.

Pads to Disc
I have been using pads since my first period but recently had the issue of skin rash and irritation so I decided to try a menstrual disc. It took some time to get used to inserting it but I fell in love with it. I was able to go to a concert not having to worry about changing or checking it. Taking it out is a little messy but bearable. I'm really happy about my purchase!

Really good -with some practise!
Overall, very happy. It took a little practise, I've only used it on one period so need to practise more, but so far I'm very pleased. I was having trouble getting it in the right place initially which gave me a low tummy ache. Luckily I read a chat post which suggested that once you have pushed it back to behind your pubic bone, bear down as if you are trying to push it out, this helped it open up and get in the right position. First couple of removals were pretty 'shark attack' as most of the contents covered my hand. However, the hook is much more pronounced than it appears in the photos so hopefully with practise this improves also.

Highly Recommend!
This was my first time using a disc. I used the "regular" size- the blue one. It worked really well, and didn't leak. It stayed securely in, and I had no issues with it. I love that it self emptied when using the restroom. I was not aware of this at first but after short research I was amazed that it has that capability. Highly recommend!

Better than expected!
I had previously used a cup - didn't work great for me because it was uncomfortable/made my cramps worse. I switched to the soft cup - much better, easy to use, worked well, was more comfortable. I bought a disc when I got the soft cup but it just so much more intimidating I didn't try it for a while and now I'm kicking myself! It is so much nicer! No leaks, comfy. I honestly thought I was doing it wrong because it was so much easier than the cup. I always felt like I really had to check that nothing was folded over weird and with the disc it is so fast and easy. Very happy.

Life changing :raised_hands:
I was convinced at first that I was wearing it wrong because of how comfortable and easy to insert it is. I was absolutly wowed that my 2-4 leaks per period that I was expecting came out to 0! If you want something comfortable, easy to use, and eco friendly THIS is what you need.
