Saalt Reusable Menstrual Disc

I had high hopes this would work well as I have used a diaphragm in the past. Unfortunately I cannot get it to sit correctly and it leaks terribly. I have a low cervix during my period and a rectocele which may be causing the incompatibility with my body.

I absolutely love how seamless this cup feels when worn for 12 hours a day. I literally can participate in all my usual activities without worrying about a leak. I'd recommend all the girls to get one!

Switched to Saalt disc after using another brand, it stays in place better for my lower cervix and seems to hold more so I don't have to dump as often! You have to see what works best for your body as we are all different!

This is my second brand I’m trying with a disc, and this one leaked just like the first brand. It works fine on light days, but my first 2 heavy days it leaks constantly. I can’t trust it to keep me from having leaks and stains.

I recently got my IUD put in and i get very heavy bleeding but once I correctly put it in i wouldnt change it for hours and i just kept on a panty liner.

I love this product I’m never going back to tampons or pads ever again this is literally like life changing. Just a warning it is messy and different than tampons but you can wear it up to 12 hours and during nighttime so that’s awesome!

At first, I tried the Saalt Disc in both sizes. The small fit better, but it was very hard to remove without a stem or string, and the regular didn’t work for me at all—it wouldn’t insert fully and kept folding inside. Because I have a low cervix, neither disc was the right choice. What truly impressed me was how caring the Saalt team was. They guided me with patience and kindness, and offered me the Saalt Cup as an alternative. The cup turned out to be perfect—comfortable, easy to use, and a great fit for my body. My advice: don’t give up if the first product doesn’t work for you. Everybody is different, and sometimes it takes a little trial and error to find the right option. I am extremely impressed with this product. I was worried that it would not work or would be too difficult to use but that is not the case. The disc fit exactly where it should and did a great job at keeping leaks and odor away.

I’ve only used it for one period, so I’m hoping the success continues, but so far it works way better than all the various cups I’ve tried! The cups all leaked and made me so discouraged. The disc leaked a couple times because I’m still getting used to placing it and knowing when to empty it.

I previously used the Salt cup. It would move and leaked on heavy days. I decided to give the disc a try and it works so much better. No leaking! It still moves but only a twist, the seal doesn’t change. I ran, did yoga, and swam with no leaks! I wish I had made the switch sooner.

I hoped to like this product. This is really not convenient and very uncomfortable.

This is a great alternative to tampons and pads; you can leave it in longer, there are no leaks, and it doesn’t feel like you’re on your period. I swear I have experienced less period symptoms since switching from chemical products to this disc. I have not touched a pad or tampon since trying the disc. I love that I am no longer spending money on more products and always sleeping comfortably throughout the night. The idea of the placement can be intimidating, but- you got this! Try it! You’ll never go back!!

Super easy use, kept me feeling clean and comfortable. Also very comfortable for intimacy with ZERO leaks. I’ll never go back to anything other than this product.

Once I understood how to insert it, this product was great! I loved not having to worry about it during the day and sleeping with it in made my night so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s so much I want to write but also want to make this really readable so here y’all go: I have just finished my first period using the regular (blue) saalt disc and I will NEVER be buying pads or tampons ever again. PROS: (from personal experience) -will save hella money -stops TONS of waste in landfills and sewers -super easy to insert (a couple seconds) -cannot feel it at all -can leave it in for 12 hours -does not leak at all (no more stress or ruined underwear) -can do everything in it (swim, run, dance, sleep, poop) -the ONLY period product that you can have MESS FREE period sex. -this whole week has felt like I wasn’t on my period at all. Bc you’re not dealing or seeing or smelling blood all throughout the day. You put it in in the morning and don’t even think about it until night. -no more packing products and having to deal with finding a bathroom to deal with period stuff out and about. I WISH I had known about this since I started my period a decade ago! And really hope this review will help ppl make the purchase! CONS: - takes me a few minutes (3) to remove some of the time (but I am still learning) -when you first learn to remove you might get blood all over your hand like I did. BUT after the second removal I got it down mess free so it’s something you learn quick …and you do it in the comfort of your bathroom so it’s no big deal. Those are the only cons i have and both are things that go away completely with practice. If anyone has anymore questions to ask I’m a completely open book to share how to use it and my personal experiences with it. I’m in love guys! I can’t stop raving to all the girls in my life about this disc!

The regular size works well for me! It was a little awkward getting it in the first time, but taking it out was a breeze. I will definitely be using it again!
