Sunbeam Steam Master Iron

Iron works well but leaks from the bottom and the retractable cord sometimes retracts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though I think this is a decent iron, I come away from my experience testing it disappointed due to it being marketed as “ steam master”. I am somebody who does not primarily iron my clothes, but steams them pretty regularly since it is more low maintenance. I was mostly excited about this aspect of this product, but I found the steaming portion of this product to just be not functional. When I initially tried to steam my clothes, I could not get any consistent steam to come out of the iron, much less to get wrinkles out of my clothes. When I did use the iron as an iron, it worked to get wrinkles out of my clothes and a variety of fabrics, linen, synthetic fiber, and cotton fabrics shown in the pictures above, so that is why it is three stars. But overall, I am feeling letdown by this iron. To add on, once I pulled out the retractable plug, it will not retract fully back in. Not the end of the world, but again not a product that is functioning the way it is advertised to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned a iron before so it was really nice to try one out. It glides super smooth against the fabric tou are ironing. It works great as an iron and to steam your clothes with the built in steamer. You don't have to find a place to wrap the chord because it can compact into the iron.

I don’t iron a lot but the steaming function is just what I needed. I also like the retractable cord for safe storing. Definitely a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is both durable and attractive. More importantly it works great to get even the most stubborn wrinkles out of sheets and clothing. I love that it shoots steam both horizontally and vertically. I also truly enjoy the fully retractable cord - no more wrapping the cord around the iron or worry about knocking over a hot iron because I tripped over the cord. In addition, it has an auto shut off for safety. This iron is better than those costing 3 times more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steammaster steam iron works really good. Iv’e steam pressed so many of my clothes and its so easy to use. The dual spray helps smooth out wrinkles on my clothes leaving the fabric looking very smooth. The best part is that its non stick don’t have to worry about it destroying my clothes. And i love the color of the iron too. Overall its a great iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say this Sunbeam "steam master" is not bad, but compared to some I've used in quilt shops (I wish I had paid more attention to the ones I liked) it works so-so and I have to repress things several times to get them to stay flat. It’s a little heavier than I would have liked but honestly it’s nice for pressing seams. Other thing I like about this iron is that it stays hot for long, long enough to press seams. And in between seams, I place it back on its base and it gets a little recharge. I've never had an issue of it running out of heat while I was using it. Most of what I've heard for the negative is problems with leaking, but since I never put water in the iron, preferring a spray bottle instead (I find that I have much better control over the steam that way), I do not have that issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is amazing I got all the wrinkles out of my tough clothes. It heats up very quickly and I love the feature that helps me get out the toughest wrinkles. But my favorite feature is the retractable cord to get out of that messy stuff.

I have been using this on them and it makes them look fresh from the cleaner! I plan on using it on my bfs work pants as well for when he travels. I love how compact it is. I may even travel with it!
