Q: Your Tide Free and Clear HE says it is now 84 fl. oz. and it does 64 loads. I used to purchase 92 fl. oz. and it also said 64 poads. Is the product now somehow stronger?

  • A: While the volume of the Tide Free and Clear HE detergent has been reduced from 92 fl. oz. to 84 fl. oz., the formula has been updated to maintain the same cleaning power per load. This means the detergent is more concentrated, so you’ll need less liquid per load to achieve the same level of cleaning as before. Essentially, the product is stronger and more efficient, allowing you to still get 64 loads from the smaller volume

  • A: I called my local store and asked them to verify whether the 154 oz version (DPCI: 003-08-0159) is in fact High Efficiency (HE). They verified that it is HE. The person I spoke with said the HE logo is on the bottle — admittedly, I haven't yet purchased so I'm verifying this second hand.

Q: Is this safe for dark and graphic t-shirts? I’ve heard someones shirts faded after using this product. Does cellulase eat the cotton under the print causing it to crack quicker?

    Overall it worked and we would repurchase in the future.

It was easy to store in the bin space under our washer. I did not notice any left over residue on our clothes. I have rather sensitive skin and didn’t have any issues or irritation when using. I also didn’t notice an overpowering scent which is also great for my sensitive skin. Overall it worked and we would repurchase in the future.

    Perfect for the Whole Family

    Free and gentle on your senses not your messes!

This detergent cleans our clothes great and works on anything- work pants to scrub pants. Lots of different types of fabrics in this house between our lines of work and it works great on all of them. The smell is nice too- just enough that it smells clean even though it’s a “free and gentle” detergent.

    A household staple

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for years! Ever since having a child, I've been more cognisant about using products that are gentle and fragrance free. Removes strains and fabric still feels soft! I feel like this lasts longer than pods... a little goes a long way.
