  • A: Not loud, just bought mine from target. I have mine on a plastic bin, with a towel on it. This has been great so far, day 3. My baby is 7 months old. I Didn't want to risk any moister on my wood furniture.

However, you can place this on the opposite side of the room from your newborn and that will reduce the light near them as they sleep if you find it is too bright. While it works great to alleviate congestion, be cautious when using! It gives out after a few uses. I’ve had my newest one for maybe 3 months and I went to plug it in tonight and it spewed water out of the slots in the front. I could feel the vibrations on my floor and the power dimmed. When I unplugged it, it sparked a bit. Very scary. I will be looking for a new one

Honestly, save you’re money and look into a better one. Right out the box, this item didn’t even work. I even tried all the tips and tricks. Steam didn’t come out and when it did it was very VERY minimal. Instead when I opened the head, there was a bunch of black things floating in the water after the first initial usage/test. If I could rate this a 0 star, I would have.

This item blew 2 fuses out within 5 minutes. And sparked the outlet. TARGET should get this off the shelf now. It's dangerous. Very. Was needed for health issues. Instead it furthered out health issues. Do not buy this. Stay safe. Please everyone. I'm glad I'm still here to report this. I should be compensated. But I haven't been. They asked if I had pics. How do you get pics of a sudden disaster that occured after plugging this item in .I'm baffled.

There's chunks of black stuff at the end of every use. I'm not sure what that is... Maybe from the filter? While it does but out a lot of steam, the product itself gets super hot, after about 8 months of use last night it started making a weird smell so I just tossed it. I won't by this model again.

The one I bought must be defective. It was extremely loud and spewd water out even when filled up below the max marker. The entire container got extremely HOT! 176° yes it’s cheap but not worth the risk!

The product came with easy to follow instructions and one vapor pack that was ready for use. I love how the steam cleared my stuffy nose, the only thing I didn't like was the fact that the humidifier was not aesthetically pleasing, it was rather large and bulky, however that's a small price to pay for a product that works

This thing LITERALLY does not put out any steam even when directions perfectly followed. Garbage and now I have to drive 20 mins each way to return it. What a pain! In the picture it is on and “running”.

Very quiet and it can go anywhere there's an outlet. Takes about 5 to 10 mins to warm up and steam but it lasts the whole night.
