Sorry to hear of your disappointment. The Stainless Steel Wipes are intended to clean, polish, and protect against fingerprints, watermarks, and grease with these convenient wipes. We recommend applying them in the direction of the grain then using a soft dry cloth to buff the solution in to achieve a streak free shine.

These are NOT unscented as advertised in the product title. I received these and they have a strong purfumey smell to them. I went through the return process to have them replaced, and the replacement item also has a strong purfumey smell. Do not purchase if you are expecting it to be unscented!

Scary to use, beautiful results
Opening it up this product smells decent. It has a bit of a greasy texture which freaked me out a little. I started wiping down my fridge and it was streaky, but i trusted the process and kept wiping. Sure enough the streaming went away and my fridge was left smudge free and sparkly. And the greasy texture wasn’t left behind.

These really work. I found the best way to use them was to do small areas at a time, followed by buffing the area with a dry cloth (I used a paper towel) in a circular motion. Worth noting for those that are sensitive to fragrance, they do have a fairly strong detergent scent to them that lingers for a few hours after use.

The Weiman Stainless Steel Wipes are a time-saver in a house filled with fingerprints, smudges, and mystery streaks that magically appear on every surface. We use them mostly on our fridge, dishwasher, and microwave — all of which are stainless — and these wipes make it easy to restore that clean, streak-free shine with minimal effort. Each wipe is thick and well-saturated, enough to handle a couple of large appliances before drying out. They don’t leave a greasy film like some other stainless products and actually seem to help repel future smudges for a short while. That’s no small feat when you have five teens constantly opening the fridge! While they’re not something we use daily, they’re perfect for weekly resets or pre-guest touch-ups. The only downside is the pack tends to dry out if not sealed tightly, so be sure to press the lid firmly after each use. If your kitchen features a lot of stainless and you’re tired of spraying and buffing, these are worth the convenience.

I've tried giving this a few chances and used different techniques but it just leaves my stainless steel appliances streaky. It also feels like the wipes are almost dried out despite having it sealed up.

The scent is overpowering
This may clean your stainless steel, but the scent is so overpowering, it never dissipates. After getting a headache from the scent, I scrubbed my appliances with dish soap, rubbing alcohol, and vinegar, twice, then steamed them twice, opened all the windows in the house, turned the whole house fan on high for several hours, it's freezing in here but I can STILL smell the scent. These types of fragrance additves should be illegal.
