[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really glad I got to try the Oral-B iO Series 3 Electric Toothbrush because it’s honestly changed my brushing habits for the better. I already had an older Oral-B electric toothbrush that I’ve been using for years, but this one feels like a serious upgrade. It’s much quieter and smoother. It doesn’t buzz all over the place, and it feels really sleek and controlled in your hand. The round brush head with micro-vibrating bristles gives a very thorough clean, especially along the gumline. The built-in two-minute timer is really nice. I don’t always use it, but it’s good to know that if I want to get a more complete clean, the timing is already handled for me. It breaks it down into four 30-second sections to help make sure you cover all areas evenly. There are different brushing modes to switch between depending on what your teeth need that day. The pressure sensor is helpful and lights up if you’re brushing too hard. I also like the display on the handle—it shows battery life and reminds you when it’s time to change the brush head. It really feels like a modern update to something you use every day.

Since my mouth is small, it initially felt like the brush head was taking up all the space. However, the benefits quickly made up for that. A full charge lasts over a week, and the brush runs for two minutes, signaling every 30 seconds to switch areas. The light turns red if you apply too much pressure, helping to prevent overbrushing. Most importantly, my teeth feel as clean as they do after a professional cleaning at the dentist. The only downside is I feel that the brush head is going to be replaced more often than other brands.

I bought this toothbrush over a year ago and I just replaced the heads of the toothbrush within the year. Though I like the aspect of having an electric toothbrush this design is horrible. Literally there is stuff that gets stuck in between the toothbrush head and the actual toothbrush. And with that being said, I am going to move on to find a different toothbrush.

Our Quality team shares that you should thoroughly rinse the brush head while the toothbrush is switched on to minimize toothpaste residue remaining on the brush between uses. After rinsing, switch the brush off, remove the brush head from the handle, and clean both parts separately under running water. Wipe both handle and brush head dry (with a soft towel), especially if you live with hard water. Once dry, put the brush head and handle back together, ensuring the brush head is pushed fully onto the handle so there is no/little gap. If necessary, use a mild detergent/cleanser and water to clean the outside of the handle. If you need further assistance with this, we’d be happy to further discuss this as needed. I like the design as it fits easy in my hand and I love how it has different settings and lets you know if your applying to much pressure. My teeth felt very clean after using. You can really feel it cleaning, like a dentist-level polish every time. The first mode felt too strong for me, but once I switched to the Sensitive mode, it became way more comfortable. I love how thorough it feels without being harsh. So far, I’m enjoying the experience.

The toothbrush has a nice design and holds a charge for about two weeks before you have to charge it again. The coolest feature on this toothbrush is the pressure sensor which tells you if you’re brushing too hard.

It doesn’t make my nose itch which was a problem with previous electric toothbrushes I’ve tried, so I’m happy they solved that! It has a light to let you know when you’re applying too much/to little pressure. My dentist actually recommended a toothbrush with a pressure sensor since she was seeing some gum recession, which is permanent. Overall I really like this toothbrush. I think the vibration after feeling can be somewhat unpleasant at times, so there are times I miss my manual tooth brush a bit. But I know I’m getting a better clean here.

It took a while to charge up but the battery have lasted a good while. The motor isn’t too loud and the speed of the brush is well. Nothing too harsh. The built in timer is neat, it really makes you feel like you’re really getting a good cleaning. It’s easy to clean and I liked using it. Definitely recommend.
