Terrible quality
We’ve had the trash can for 3 months, it’s already malfunctioned and it won’t work

Good, not great, especially for the price
It looks good and neat in the kitchen, especially for smaller spaces. There is no option for a power cable so hopefully the battery life will prove to be good. The lid is plastic and does not seem very sturdy. The sensor is not as sensitive as the previous model and getting the lid to open sometimes takes some waving around of trash. Also there is no timer indicator for how long the lid will remain open. The old model failed after around 2 1/2 years because the gear mechanism for the lid failed to calibrate, so one side would always stay open no matter how many times I fixed it. I hope this new design for the lid mechanism is more reliable but it seems less sturdy.

Good upgrade
This was a replacement for a previous home Labs model and I really like it except it's difficult to learn how to insert the bag. The closing mechanism is a little noisier than the previous model.

Well-Designed Trash Can
The unit functions as described. Occasionally, the sensor at the top needs to be adjusted.
