Vornado 293HD Large Heavy Duty Shop Fan Yellow: Portable Electric Utility Fan, Quiet, Adjustable Tilt, Wall Mountable

I purchasedthis fan and am very happy with it. It is very durable and works well cooling the house.

Solid construction without any tinny vibrations. So far we have only needed to operate it on low speed.

I bought this about a month ago and am really impressed with its sturdiness. I'm sure it will last my lifetime and maybe someone else's as well!

this fan is expensive ,and is suppose to be heavy duty's what they said, only used one to two months out of the year and keep it clean and boxed when not in use,,,,surprise after 5 years is not working at all and is not the fuse, nobody could help me to see and fix problem,,,,last time I buy any tornado fan

This fan replaced one that I ran night and day while my sister visited. I had it for many years. Most fans are smaller. This one is a perfect size and circulates air in a 9 x 12 room. I loved being able to see it in my apt. using a photo on my phone.

Had one of these in my goat barn for a few years and the goats loved it. That was until there was a fire, and it burnt to a pile of ash, except the base that did make it and gave us quite a laugh.

The 293 blows! Happy Fathers Day! I just received my yellow Vornado 293. The first thing I did was flipped the face cover and installed it with the handle on the bottom to maintain that classically beautiful Vornado look. I removed my smaller model 630 and set the 293 in it's place. The idea was to move air down the hallway towards the front of the house from my evaporative cooler that is installed in the bedroom. Within minutes, his resulted in a slight breeze in the living room with a temperature drop of nearly 5 degrees. I am very happy with this fantastic fan! Key facts: -Low is 42 watts, medium is 53 watts, and high is more like turbo mode at 70 watts. -MADE IN USA I have at least 5 Vornados. If you are willing to screw one to the wall, or install it on a hallway doorjam you will not believe how much air they can move. My advise to you is to throw out those oscillating fans and buy a Vornado. P.S. If you have a box fan don't throw it away. Tape a high quality 20x20 A/C filter to the back of it and you'll have the most economical room filtration ever. It is literally THE ONLY thing that those fans are useful for;)

I use this fan in my bedroom because I am a hot sleeper and have to have air movement when sleeping! let me tell you it does the job!!! Best fan ever! unfortunately when I bought it they only had the yellow color so I am stuck with the ugly yellow in my bedroom but highly recommend!

Really liked this fan. Robust and practical. But unfortunately it did not last beyond 6-7 years--just died all of a sudden, and it wasn't the fuse. Not Heavy Duty after all, and it wasn't used excessively either. I was told it was out of warranty so I am SOL, and they will give me 30% off on a replacement. I hope the replacement one will last longer than the previous one. It is not a cheap fan. In my decades of living, I've never had a fan die on me like this one--I've had fans that have lasted decades, including one old Vornado (I have 4 other Vornados too). All my other fans that I've ever purchased are still running. My Aunts in Taiwan have had fans that lasted 60-to-70 years of hard continuous use. They just don't make them like they used to or have long warranties. Not a good value proposition.

It moves a lot of air which is just what I was looking for. I use it daily to circulate the stale air out of the bedroom and hallway and out the window. My only disappointment was with the tilt - not sure if mine was defective but it will not stay pointed in the angle I want it, it slowly drifts back to an upward position. I'll probably wedge a rubber stopper to keep it from doing that in the future. Otherwise, great product.

I bought this fan in 2019 and run it in the summer to ventilate the Garage. Keep in mind the garage produces some dust but not overly dirty. for the price and touted quality, I expected a few more years of service from this fan. Best just to buy cheaper fans every 3 years..

Vornado fans are reliable and durable. Easy to clean and maintain, they provide a soothing background noise for sleep. With 24/7 use, they last years. I have three Vornado fans, one being eight years old. The Shop Fan is my latest addition.

I got this fan to help circulate air in the warmest part of my house. It works really well to move the air. I really like the vortex effect, it's not as irritating to my eyes as a direct gust from a normal fan. It seems to be gentler at moving the air. I like how the stand makes it so you can rotate the fan. The cool part about the vortex is that I can face it away from me and still feel a breeze.

Great fan! Bought one in '09, runs daily for almost a year. Circulates air well in high ceiling space. Bought a second for summr AC. Easy to clean. Quiet on low, good masking noise on high. Durable, planning to buy third for new house.

Purchased about a month ago works great the only problem I have is my adult daughters keep borrowing it so it’s hard to find when I want it
