Scotch Electrical Tape Black: Industrial Vinyl Tape for Electrical Use

(This is nothing against the tape.) Watch your receipt. Clearly marked $2.99, not on sale…every day…even if it rains. Overcharged me. Charged $4.10 plus tax. HORRIBLE Customer Service!!!!! It took a 20 minute phone call to the Philippines (which is ALWAYS the normal location), just to be transferred over to Angie (who WOULDN’T give her employee #) in the United States, to be hung up on. She even stated, “This is your third warning.” I just laughed at her and told her she’s not my mom. If she’s not correct, she’s going to be corrected, but she did not like me interrupting her to correct her inaccuracies. You would think they would have patient people in a customer service position, not people that can’t be corrected when they make mistakes. After I informed her she was being recorded, she wouldn’t give me her employee number and hung up on me. (She did inform me, I had her permission to be recording her, before she hung up on me. I laughed at her again and told her she has no authority or power over me. I don’t need her permission. She’s recording me and I’m not in a two-party state, so I can record as well.) That was a total of 24 minute phone call just to have to call back to the Philippines for another call lasting 25 minutes. All for a $2 gift card for being overcharged $1.11 plus tax. DO BETTER TARGET!!!! (Do notice that Angie only lasted four minutes out of the 24 minute phone call. A third warning in less than four minutes?! Wow! She needs to go have some customer resolution training. YIKES!!!! I didn’t get a single warning from the other three ladies in the Philippines. Do MUCH better Angie!! You can do it!! :0)

I liked the fact that it is so inexpensive. I have a dead lithium battery to dispose of. In researching how to safely do this, I learned that you should wrap the lithium battery in electrical tape to prevent it starting a fire. No idea how this happens, but I feel safer for under $5.

Purchase cheap stuff off and after buying this found out why the other stuff was cheap, it wouldn't adhere. This is sticky and stretches. Great product

The serial number sticker on the bottom on my laptop was starting to come loose. It was an annoyance and more importantly I thought it better to not just pull it off in case of a future repair because it's usually helpful to have it physically on the laptop and not just telling it them (speaking from experience with a previous repair). This worked very well. Cut two very small pieces, and the sticker is now secure and I also don't feel it when picking up the laptop. It's like it's not there. FWIW, I didn't follow the turn off your electronics direction. Just placed them right on, no issue with it staying put.

Good stuff for all around. I believe I read about the details of 88 vs 33 online and the only difference is that 88 was 2x thicker. Also the store brands are not up to the 105⁰C code requirements. Otherwise I just love this stuff and I can't stand getting it at the hw or big home improvement stores as it's always 5 bucks at the least. And btw, having once worked there, don't ever feel guilty about how it's possible to always overspend there. Every single person who walks in the door "on paper" is worth $100 in sales to management. And that was 2014. It was a baseline statistic I heard about. So go to Target. This one is actually priced for the consumer and it's identical to what the pros use.

great quality tape and good price value

I didn't use this for electrical tape. I used it to cover up some super bright LED lights that were driving me crazy at night. This roll of tape was perfect! I only needed one small piece for each light and it blends perfectly on the black surface.

Not like the place you pay pennies for, won't blow it on the first tape. Pull out with a knife or teeth (DDS). Great price for scotch here and can use the entire roll.
