We start with a super soft microfiber cover and generously fill it with a proprietary blend of 60% feather fiber, 25% down fiber and 15% feathers. You'll appreciate the 14 inch end to end sewn through boxes that will keep the natural fill from shifitng--no more cold spots. For added durabiltiy we've added a double stitched self piping around the edges. Certified by the American Down and Feather Council so you know you're getting a quality product.

Q: Product description/spec asks for dry clean, which I am trying to avoid. Has anyone washed it in their home washing machine and dryer? Please advise your results and whether it’s safe to do so. Thanks.

A: You can wash it by itself with cold water and very little detergent in a fast spinnig LARGE capacity washer machine with no softener. Then dry it with tennis balls at a very low heat or no heat for a long time. ( Be patient, it may multiple cycles) Always dry it by itself while checking now and then to move the comforter around so all spots are dry. Once you take it out of the dryer, fluffy the comforter for few minutes.

Good mid quality duvet
The fill is not very consistent per square but overall the amount of full feels appropriate and keeps you warm. The fabric covering has a very nice hand. I wouldn't even use a duvet cover over it if it was any color other than white!

Great Valiue!
This comforter was a perfect purchase for the guest bedroom--we use it as a duvet stuffer so there was no need to overspend for an expensive designer brand when its being covered.

Outstanding value!!
Comforter is a perfect weight, is nicely filled and has no 'empty boxes' or cool spots like some of the comforters I've bought eslewhere--the microfiber cover is really soft but I'll be using it as a duvet stuffer so I'm thrilled that I didn't need to overpay for a high thread count cover!
