Not a useable container
I’m not sure if I got a dud or they are all this bad, but the lid isn’t even close to air tight. It just doesn’t fit correctly. It rests loosely on top of the container. There is no seal. This is not a useable container for food.

The hinge opening for the pour spout sticks too hard and to pry it open you end up popping off the entire lid. Also the side grip area is pretty wide for small or slippery elderly hands.

Poorly designed, spills out, difficult to hold for those with smaller hands such as children. Our previous container broke after several years and we needed a replacement but couldn’t find similar one with a proper handle and a better flip top for filling and pouring

Great at keeping food fresh.
Purchased 5 of these for my feline. 4 for dry foods and 1 for dry treat mix. Labelled with a piece of paper on top and the circular opening away from me, I can easily lift the lids and grab a small handful for a new dry food feline mix each time. Press down and good remains fresh. Saves lifting the containers at 1am. My other felines now passed had containers with food premixed-my Cindy us a little pickier but her formal name given at the shelter was Cinderella.

Pour lid dysfunctional and NOT dishwasher safe
The container served its purpose. However, the lid to pour things from was useless for me because it required a ridiculously excessive amount of force to open. The container also became disfigured in the dishwasher!! No where did it say in the description that this was not safe for dishwasher use. Only buy keeping these things in mind.

prefer to fancier brands!
vacuum locks and other fancy brands scare me a little because if you wash the lids in the dishwasher you could very easily end up with mold. This locks on to the top well but also doesnt freak me out in the dishwasher. Good value, sturdy, and easy to clean, perfect for dry cat food.

Flaws in design
Lid doesn’t always want to stay open when pouring. The hole isn’t large enough for cereals like Frosted Flakes, Corn Flakes etc. They don’t pour out easily, often getting stuck.

Chemical smell leaching into food
When I purchased this container, I washed it right away because it had a strong plastic smell. Afterwards, I filled it with cereal. Months later, the smell was still present when I went to open it. The cereal itself smelled like chemicals or plastic, even once I poured it out. I ended up throwing it all out. I noticed the same issue with the other containers in this line, and I’m a little concerned. Additionally, the pour spout is not the most functional either. Keep looking.
