    I love these

    I love this stuff! It stays all day, layers(re-apply) without issues, and doesn't clump or smear when I apply a chapstick later. The texture is sticky at first, but then feels hardly there. The color stays solid all day. It is a matte finish and doesn't seem to dry out or hydrate lips either way. I don't like make-up, I have never worn anything regularly, but now I wear this daily. The color on my lips makes me look more put together and it stays long after I forget about it. I now own 4 of them.

    The newer colors are terrible

    This color is horrible The Old Pink used to be so much better this is like a neon color and I hate it. I also miss the plum color that you used to have and I don't know why you have to mess with things that are working. I'm so disappointed

While we have not changed the official pigment blend for Romantic, there are a couple of reasons why a fresh, brand-new bottle might look slightly different than a tube you have owned for years: Freshness vs. Aging: Over the years, liquid lipstick formulas naturally settle, dehydrate, and oxidize inside the tube. This can actually cause older bottles to appear darker, deeper, and more muted. When you open a fresh, brand-new bottle, the pigments are at their original, newly mixed state, which can make it appear brighter or more neon-pink than your aged tube! Settling Pigments: Because this is a highly concentrated liquid ink formula, pigments can occasionally settle over time. We highly recommend giving your tube a vigorous shake or giving the formula a good stir with the applicator wand inside the tube before applying to ensure the pigment is perfectly blended. We want you to absolutely love your signature fuchsia shade!

    Overall hands down a great matte lipstick

    It’s beyond disappointing and despicable that you discontinued Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in #95 Visionary. The most sought after color in my opinion. No other color in the line compares to this one. Honestly stopped buying the line due to the discontinued color. Bring it back!!

    Obsolete lipsticks

    What happened to the shade 40 and 50. Those are my favorites! Now nothing close to those shades. Stop changing up on people colors add but take away. So disapointed.

To help you find a close match within our current lineup, a wonderful tip is to check out shade 15 (Escapist) as a gorgeous, deep plum alternative to Believer, or shade 112 (Composer) for that rich, beautiful brick-red warmth you loved in Voyager.     Misleading

    The color was not at all like the image/description. I ordered ringleader which looks to be more of a pink mauve. What I got was coral. Not even in the same ballpark. Not sure where the online images come from but they don't represent the actual color. Hope I can return.

While we have not made any changes to this beloved, long-wearing formula, batch variations or changes in lighting can sometimes make pigments appear slightly different, and deep red shades like Composer can sometimes pull more of their purple and plum undertones depending on how the formula settles or the natural color of your lips. We hear your feedback loud and clear about wanting that beautiful, classic red tone back, and we will certainly share your thoughts with our product development team. To help bring out the warmest red tones in your current tube, we suggest applying a very thin, paper-thin layer on completely dry lips, allowing it to dry fully for three minutes without pressing your lips together to let the true red pigment set.

    Got rid of the best color

    Maybelline Ruined a Great Product

    Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink used to be the best liquid lipstick available. I absolutely loved #460 Optimist. However, they changed the formula and now this lipstick is a chalky, clumpy mess that does not spread or adhere to the lips. (Note: I washed my lips prior to application and used a good primer that works well with my skin. So this is not a skin issue.) I also do not believe this is simply a case of receiving one bad item. I purchased two different colors and both have the same consistency and performance. In my experience bad items do not transition between colors as each color is it's own production lot(s).

    Missing the discontinued reds

    I've been a Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick customer since they first came out. They outlast the most expensive brands! Trust me, I've tried them all since I've been a cosmetics junky forever. I am disappointed that many colors have been discontinued! Especially in the red family. There was a "red orange" i loved to wear in the summer. I found something similar in a competitor's brand, however, does not have the staying power. I wish you would bring the colors back!

    Hello, your super stay matte ink is great, exept now coulors desappeared, and not only this, the Nr.25 Heroine seems to have changed from a beautiful reddish dark orange to some pinkish thing. i bought it believing in the number and name and could not give it back. Where did this former orange colour disappear? thanks for your hint, i really loved it and would like going on using it ... (and i didn't find the topic "colour in the review topics, sorry)
