The best
My hair gets oily very quick and I used to have to buy different shampoos every every month. I was only ever able to change my shampoo up and I could never use the same shampoo for more than a month at a time. I have used the shampoo now for the last two years consistently and have not needed to buy any different shampoo. It is my favorite. It smells great and it’s lightweight on my hair.

Dry hair
Im upset because I’ve used this shampoo for years. I usually love it because it cleaned my hair and scalp well without drying my hair. This last shampoo I purchased left my hair so dry and frizzy. I’m not sure if the bottle was tampered with or if there was a formula change. I had to deep condition it and it still feels a little dry so hopefully once I deep conditioned again my curls will feel back to normal.

Used this shampoo on my 1B hair when it had more damage and dryness that needed taking care of. It was a good amount of moisture without making my hair feel too weighed down. Would repurchase and smelled great!

Ok so this shampoo is I guess good and somewhat not good. Okay let's start with the smell: the smell is amazing it's not too strong. I like how my hair feels clean and scalp too. I like that the ingredients are clean and I like how soft my hair feels after I use this. Okay now let's go into what I didn't like about this shampoo... it left my hair frizzy and I lost quite a bit of hair it wasn't too bad but still. I also didn't like how it felt in my hair I mean it cleanses well and left my hair feeling clean but I also feel like it left my hair kind of dry. But anyways everyone has different hair so it might work out for you but it didn't really work out for me.

Disappointing but smells amazing
Love the scent!!! It smells heavenly. However, I never felt a real difference in my hair after using this shampoo and conditioner for several months. It didn’t HARM my hair, but it didn’t add shine or prevent split ends. I was disappointed because I had high hopes.

The scent is great but the moisture is too much for me. My hair is flat and feels heavy. I also bout the conditoner. It was so thick it clogs coming out of the bottle. Maybe I have the wrong hair type for this conditoner. Its is definitely a great price and the scent is outstanding. My scalp feels great but not sure the shampoo or conditioner improved it. I would recommend this but not for dry hair for SUPER BRITTLE DAMAGE dry hair. Not for a person with normal hair. the scent is very pretty

I used to use aussie(such a horrible shampoo for damaged curls) and I tried it for awhile before I switched to Maui moisture!!! LET ME TELL YOU!! it’s so amazing! I’ve seen such a big difference to where my curls are becoming more curler in the shower! It’s so lightweight and has natural ingredients recommended highly for more looser curls!!

This smells so so good! It smells like going to the beach with a hint of watermelon and hibiscus. If this get’s in your eyes, it doesn’t burn AT ALL! Also, the packaging it is so cute and perfect for summer. I have bought this so many times and I will keep re-purchasing it. You can also pair this shampoo with the green conditioner set and it will leave your hair PERFECT! ABSOLUTELY LOVE!

Pretty Effective
This shampoo was surprisingly good for emphasizing the texture of my hair generally frizzy to wavy thick hair. I typically use Pantene which I find good for cleaning and softness but not so much managing texture. While my hair isn’t as soft using the Maui Moisture Shampoo I find it very effective at cleaning my scalp (especially with double lathering) and keeping it oil free between washes (I wash every other day, my scalp is generally oily). I experienced no issues with dryness and really liked the tropical scent 🌺 that being said, I did go back to Pantene after this, mostly in the interest of cost.

I love this for my curly/wavy hair as it smells amazing and doesn’t irritate my scalp but leaves it with great volume. Amazing look and smell, love!
