White cast and thick formula
Thicker formula so it’s hard to rub in. It also leaves a white cast. Definitely not my kind of sunscreen.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Tried this on both my kids and my self while at the lake and even with applying properly we all got very sun burnt. It leaves a weird residue that’s hard to wash off and dries out skin.

My favorite sunscreen
I love this sunscreen. I have been using it for about 3-4 years and it’s the perfect finish to my morning skincare routine, makes me so glowy. No white cast, applies easily to face & body.

Terrible
I bought this in a pinch when our normal sunscreen was unavailable, and I fully regret it. My fair skinned daughter got a really bad sunburn, even with multiple applications throughout the day.

Reaction
While this is "kid friendly" it caused a rash I've never gotten from other zinc sunscreens. We won't use it again.

effective >4.5-star
It is an effective >4.5-star German product, just by looking at the fact that it has over 20% of zinc oxide. For the same reason, it is very greasy in order to get an easy rub. Hope that it can be less runny such that it won’t drip onto the floor, and that it can be less oily that it can be comfortably put on the face. Maybe substitute with some TiO2 will help.

Great for little kids
We were looking for a sunscreen for our four year old that didn’t leave large white streaks and wasn’t too thick while still offering high SPF. This fit all of our needs for sunscreen and would recommend to any parent of a young child.

Gave one kid a rash, other kid was fine
Wondering what's in this sunscreen that gives one of my kids an almost immediate rash (red blotches). I tried it twice because the first time I wasn't sure it was the sunscreen, but after the second time I am sure. My other kid has had no problem with it... I used Coppertone mineral sunscreen on both my kids last year and they were fine, so I am wondering what's different now.

DO NOT USE - Got horribly burned
I applied it as directed. I let it soak in, then I went swimming. I even reapplied after two hours before swimming some more. I got SO BURNED. It was horrible. I usually use Banana Boat with no problems. I regret trying this one. I do not recommend it, especially if you are going into water. Apparently it washes right off.

Good stuff!
Works great! My child is sensitive and other sun block made them break out. This one doesn’t at all and provides great sun protection

Used for adults and kids but leaves a thin film
Bought this as a recommendation from Wirecutter. Even though it says it’s for kids, we use it for the whole family. Easy to squirt out but not so easy to spread. Leaves a thin white film. The tube has also opened in the diaper bag before and spilled.

Causes res swelling allergice type reaction
Definitely something in it that makes some kids react to it badly! It’s only my kids who have freckles that turned out with swollen, red puffy faces and eyes! They looked terrible just a few hours after using like they had a bad allergic reaction. It had me concerned enough to give Benadryl to one of them! How I know it is this sunscreen, well we were headed to the community pool and it was closed so went back home and stayed inside all day! Definitely not even a sunburn. This happened once before but I thought it was a combo sunburn with allergies since he was at a park rolling in grass and is allergic to certain grasses but not it was this. I had this one at home and neutrogena in my car when out, which is the we have been using most and nothing has happened when using that one, you know the one with the “bad” chemicals”. Terrible on day 2 and I’m thinking by day 3 it still won’t be better enough to go out. Thank God we have no events to go to because it looks that bad.

CAUTION!!!
Caution: DOES NOT WORK! I used this, and the spray version, on my kids religiously our first day on the beach, and they both burned terribly. I thought maybe it’s just because the iv rays are stronger in the south, but I used our Blue Lizard lotion from last year the next few days and there was no additional burning. Because I didn’t realize this sunscreen didn’t really work I used it on them again on the last day because the Blue Lizard tubes ran out, and they both burnt again. It’s a cheaper option than the Blue Lizard, sure, but it’s not worth the damage it did 😞 please be cautious using this on your kids!
