This car seat was very nice and padded. However the installation was a nightmare at least in my vehicle. I really didn't like that when u adjusted the back of the booster seat up the fact that it was than very wobbly to me that is not safe. If u don't need a to adjust the back than it's fine. I did not feel like this was a good fit for us so I returned it

The KidFit is a booster seat. Booster seats help your child be properly positioned to fit the vehicle seatbelt. The lower anchors on the KidFit help to keep the car seat in place when the car seat is not in use. For this reason you do not have to install the anchors tightly. In fact you may find that the booster seat will fit your vehicle better with a slightly looser installation.

I’ve always bought this brand of car seat ever since my kids were babies. However, being able to zip the cover off and wash it is a game changer. Past car seats I would go through unhooking all 38383 hooks, wash it and it would never go on and look normal again. This one? Game changer. I just zip it, throw it in the wash, dryer, and zip back on. Every parent needs this.

Safety, Ease, and Comfort!

Not for Subaru Ascent
Unfortunately doesn’t fit 2020 Subaru Ascent. If you cinch the base sung where it is not sliding on the seat the back won’t lay flush with the car seat

Installing a booster seat is very different than a car seat. The LATCH connectors on a booster seat help to keep it in place when the seat is unoccupied and do not need to be pulled tight. This will also allow the back of the booster seat to lay flush with the vehicle seat.

Happy with it.
My kid had been in the same grace extend to fit for years and it was time for a booster. I chose this because it has the zip off cover so it’ll be easy to clean and we had the chicco newborn seat and I know it’s well rated for safety and they’re amazing quality. This seat was easy to put together and install and he really likes it. He keeps saying how comfy it is and the snack/iPad holder is a fun bonus. I also like how clean looking this is without any gaudy colors or designs, and it’s sleek, not bulky.

I am not that inpressed with this seat. wasnt easy to get it tight. should be pull and it tightens but it wasnt, had to push, kneel and apply alot of pressure to the seat to get it to tighten. Not 100% sure I am keeping it yet. its for my grandson when he is in my car he is 5. If I dont like the way be fits in it he will go back to a 5 point harness seat.

Unlike a traditional car seat, a booster car seat is designed to help a child fit properly in the vehicle seat and the LATCH does not need to be tight. The LATCH connection on a booster seat is used to keep the seat in place when the child is not in the booster seat. We hope this information is helpful in evaluating the use of the seat.

Love the seat. Definitely love the easy zip features for quick washing. My daughter loves the cup holder and the little tray thing that it comes with. It does fall off pretty easily. My older daughter has the same seat and took her off cause she didn’t like that it would spill her things every couple times. Love that it’s easy to install and super easy to move. Easy adjust and she can buckle herself in fairly easy. We have two of these now and I will be using for my youngest also.

We purchased this seat for our 6 year old and loved it enough to get another for our tall 4 year old. We appreciate the anchor system and the dual cup holders. Knowing we can unzip and wash the fabric is another bonus! The concept of the little toy compartment is nice, but we’ve found it sometimes falls out of the cup holder when putting on seat belts.
