No Frills, Perfect Rice Every Time
I had an older version of this for many years and loved it. But when it finally broke, I tried to use my Instant Pot to make rice, but was really unhappy with the results (even burned the rice a few times). So I got another Zojirushi and it works like a charm. It's so nice to have 1-button rice cooker that just does what it's supposed to, perfect every time.

Do not buy. Will spoil your rice.
Do not buy this rice cooker. The left over rice will not keep warm. The rice cooker will turn it yellow. The rice gets hard, yellow and spoiled within a few hours of cooking it. Bottom of the pot has a consistency similar to congee while the rice on top barely cooks.

Works best when you soak rice first!
I love it! It’s the second one I have purchased. The first was much larger this one is a tiny version of my other one which lasted for over a decade. I hope this one does as well. Only wish they still made the huge one.

Buy it. Parts and quality.
Non stick is easy to clean. Cooks rice evenly. Superior quality. My old rice maker is a different brand and had no parts available. My new Zojirushi has parts available so I bought it. So far it has made excellent rice and I am glad I found this brand. I have know purchased the 2 lb loaf bread maker and look forward to making bread.

Two Decades Later: Still great!
My friend gave me this rice cooker in the early 2000s! I use it constantly and it works great! Over the years it has gotten a couple of digs when I moved, but this is a high quality piece. I love it!

Happy Camper all the time!
I’ve owned one for 18 years and I had just brought another one in March 2022. You will never go wrong buying this product. We have always left our rice cooker on 247 keeping it warm and it never is burnt and just the way we always like our rice which, is nice and warm! It’s easy to carry around too and still keeps the rice warm so To me, it truly is the very best brand!

Sturdy and blessedly simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given my 5 cup rice cooker by my grandmother when I moved out of the house. This this has seen heavy use for the last 16 years and I'm still happy with it. I might need a new pot for the inside since I had a roommate who didn't understand Teflon care.
