    1:24 RC is not worth headache

    After watching all of the videos about this product I thought it would be a good starter RC to see if this is a hobby we want to invest in. I remember now why I never played withe's never played with the RC cars as a child. By the time you put in all the batteries and try to get the thing to drive straight you don't even feel like playing with it anymore. As a lesson I opened the package with my child and painstakingly reviewed all of the instructions and watched the instructional vidinstructional videos as we put the batteries in and attempted to connect the remote. Needless to say this was heartbreaking because it never worked We spent an hour cycling through batteries and startup cycles to no Avail. What might seem a good investment for $15 is actually a priceless waste of time. I think instead will return this one and get the 1 with the USB charger even though it costs more money it's probably more capable and likely to be more fun .

    Giftable toy

    We love our shark! We have 4 different remote control cars and this is the only one regularly played with. The charger is store inside which is a pain but then you never lose it! We have played in snow, grass, cement and pool (slow but fun). Boys age 4 and 6 yrs old. Loses a star for short charge life.

    Dont buy

    Worked well for about 1 hour. After that, the front wheels won't turn anymore. Now it can only drive straight. My son is not very happy.
