As a 52yr old 1st time self tan user, I was very nervous and super skeptical, but this product is amazing and incredibly forgiving. I absolutely love it and now have a lovely streak free golden glow without dark knees, elbows and hands 🙌 this product is the real deal!

Absolutely amazing!! I let the tan sit for 1 hour then rinse it off in the shower with no soap and the tan doesn't fully develop until the next morning so it doesn't look tan at first but it looks great the next morning and it works great on your face but use a makeup brush to blend it on your face

This is by far the best self tanner I have tried and super easy to use. I'm pale and I left it on for 3 hrs and I am beyond happy I'm actually tanned. I love it so much I'm on my second bottle so yeah 10/10 recommend.

For me, this formula works really well and stays for about 9 days! Application: it’s a QUICK dry foam. You have to be fast. You have to make sure you are QUICKLY buffing out any patches. You will be able to see it because the guide color is dark. If I have a patch I just squirt some more and fill in. This helps rework what dried down wrong. Dry: it dries down pretty well at about 1 hr. I can’t stand tanner on my skin so I walk around in a starfish position for almost an hour before I’ll sit. I would never wear tanner out and about cause you’re just risking transfer or giving yourself patches. At the one hour mark though this isn’t the worst. Time on: 1 hour gives you a kiss of glow (I’m PALE) that I don’t think is worth the time. 2 hours gave me a GORGEOUS natural color. And once I left it for 3.5 hours and I looked like a goldfish cracker for 4 solid days after. 2-2.5 hours leaving it on is the sweet spot for my pale skin. Development: I ALWAYS tan before bed. Starfish around for ~2 hours, rinse the guide and go to bed. I wake up after usually 6-7 hours after I have a beautiful color that doesn’t change much. (Don’t be a dumbo that expects to rinse the guide off and see a tan. You aren’t dyeing your skin. A chemical process has to occur which takes overnight time. The “express” is referring to how long you leave the guide on your skin!) Lasting: once I used this and went to Costa Rica - it started to come off in 4 days. This was with lots of sunscreen and salt water. I was ANNOYED. I gave it another try at home in AZ later and it lasted almost 12 days and faded SO naturally. With proper prep and proper aftercare I have averaged 9-10 days without the patches starting like most tanners. *Would not recommend if you are going on a beach trip. All in all I really like it! The only downside is $30 for a bottle of tan is diabolical. I know some brands are $50-$70 but $30 is still ridiculous. I’ve gotten 5 wears out of this so far and kinda feel like paying the $25-40 to have a pro do it might feel more economical if I’m still paying so much to waste my own time.

The best tanner I’ve ever used! It’s almost impossible to mess up. Even on the hard to reach spots on my back where I didn’t do the best job applying, it turned out totally fine. Tanners, even professional spray tans, usually turn orange on me in a few days but this gave the most rich, natural color with no scary fading. One bottle gave me about 7-8 full body applications. I always did 2/3 hours before bed, rinse off, then wake up glowing. It takes time after washing out to develop. Love it, will rebuy forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used it on my legs because I haven’t used this formula before and if it came out wonky I could hide it under pants. I have light/medium skin and this only gave me a very slight hint of color. My daughter suggested I leave it on overnight. I will try that and update my review. Positives are that there’s hardly any fragrance and it went on smoothly. No streaking!

All Bondi sands tans I've tried are awful. No matter who much i exfoliate before or moisturise days before. I still get the most patchy and water streak tan ever. I will no longer be using these formulas they are dreadful

A little disappointed in this. I wanted to love it because I’ve always heard great things about this brand. However, it did not get dark enough for my olive completion. If you’re a lighter skin tone, it would work good for you. Did not get orange, blends evenly and has a nice smell.

Avoid this product, no results after 2 hours set time. I love the regular over night bondi sands so thought this would be nice, especially because it was discounted. I understand the price drop now. I applied it over my legs, arms, and chest. I didn’t bother with my stomach because those areas weren’t going to show. I let it cure for 2 hours and when I got out of the shower the rest of my body was the same color as my non applied stomach. I remember looking at my ankles during the cure process and thinking, “dang I applied way too much in that area” well no worries there because it all went away with a 2 minute rinse off. I am also a redhead with lighter skin so trust me there was plenty of opportunity for some color to appear. Don’t bother with this and just stick to the over night options, or get St. Tropez.

Oh I love this! I debated in store for 10 mins before buying it but I love it. It’s an olive undertone so I don’t look orange and it’s not sticky!! I wore it for 2 hours before rinsing off & I was a little disappointed because it wasn’t as dark as I wanted to be, then I went to sleep and woke up so dark. So this definitely keeps tanning you after you rinse. Not sure how many uses I can get out of a bottle.

In my opinion, this tanner is comparable to a professional self tanner. People in the reviews claiming that it all goes down the drain after a showering aren’t wrong… this tanner takes hours to fully develop. What I love about it is that I can put it on for an hour, rinse it off, and then hop into bed without that sticky self tan feeling AND not worry about any tan transferring onto my white sheets. I am pale and wake up with the best looking tan. Love this stuff!! Only downfall is that it may not last as long as some others

Okay, I’m a self tanning snob. So with that being said… Not bad. Not great. I like that it’s not sticky like the other 6 hour formula. However, the color pay off is okay. I would compare it to light medium of the original self tanner. I’m more of a dark/ulta dark tan, but it’s good in a pinch if you need a subtle glow quickly. Probably wouldn’t purchase again but it’s not terrible, just not my favorite.

If you’re pale and also yellow undertones, this is a great option. No orange tones, no red. It’s olive which is a deeper version of yellow so it’s natural. Yes it has a green guide color, I dont understand the reviews seeming confused by that. I would say 2 hours is the minimum, 4 tops. I can’t imagine you’d get any extra color over more than 4 hours. Didn’t apply patchy and I’ve only been tanning a year or so prior, so I’m not a pro. Very blend able, just over all a 10 for me.
