The Fresh & Save vacuum containers are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers. Here's how it works: Dock the vacuum pump onto the container or bag valve and at the push of a button it extracts the air in mere seconds. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been obtained, locking in flavor, aromas, and vitamins.

    Lids cracks

    Lids cracks very easily if you air vacuum too much. They tend to bend a little too much and with time, they crack a tiny bit, just enough for the air to come into the container. Once this happens, there is no lid replacement.

    Grey pyrex

    This Item is the one I meant, not the first one The grey pirex the thicker one, the first order too small, the second one , the pyrex Cannot be sealed, it needs one of those gadget in order to seal it close.

    Best utensils I own!

    These containers and the vacuum gadget are the best kitchen utensils I own! I never have to throw away leftovers anymore! Everything, including fresh fruits and veggies last me so much longer without spoiling giving me more time to use them up!

    Love Zwilling Food Savers

    excellent choice for small food items. I was able to keep parsley fresh in fridge over two months. I did have to re-seal top a couple of times, but the taste and freshness remained the same as on the day of purchasing. Also, used to keep leftover canned veggies with excellent results. highly recommend
