Our topical tranexamic acid serum is formulated with a potent level of tranexamic acid, plus kojic acid, niacinamide and licorice root extract to help fade the appearance of hyperpigmentation or dark spots for brighter-looking skin.



To Use: Shake well. Apply an even layer of the tranexamic acid serum onto face, neck and chest, avoiding the eye area. For best results, follow with a moisturizer. If mild sensitivity or redness occurs, reduce frequency of use until skin adjusts. Wear sunscreen during the day. Patch test prior to use is advised.

Q: I bought 2 bottles of Naturium Tranexamic Topical Acid 5% but both of them are in amber color, & it feels a bit sticky after applying it on the back of my hand, I assume they are oxidized already?

Q: How is this different from multi bright tranexamic acid treatment? Which one would you recommend for someone with dark spots and hyperpigmentation?

  • A: The main difference is the base formula, which is more of a creamy emulsion for the treatment. The Treatment doesn't have exfoliating properties, but the Topical Acid has added Kojic Acid. For normal to oily skin go with the Topical Acid. For normal to dry skin (and for added brighteners) go with the Treatment. You may layer them if desired. Patch test and always use sunscreen.

    Great buy.

    Real works with consistent use!

    I am on my second bottle of this magic potion and I swear that if you use this twice a day, you will see a significant lightening of brown spots. I am going to try this on the back of my hands next. This will always be a part of my skin care.

    Worth a shot

    Not bad for the price. I have hyperpigmentation so I’ve been using this regularly at night before moisturizer and it helps lighten my sun spots a bit. Nothing magical in a bottle, but slow and steady usage I think helps.

    Brownish, expired (?) serum

    Unfortunately the two bottles that I bought in the Memorial Day sale had brownish serum and I don't think I should use it. (I have used this product before and it should be a cloudy color.) I'm disappointed with the lack of quality and will look elsewhere for a similar product.

    Surprised!

    I used this and one other thing for my acne scaring (plus cleanser) and you can defintly see the difference! Naturium is a great brand and I can confidently say that I’ll be buying from them again.

    I don't like the opacity of the bottles for the serums. This product and three others are collecting dust in my closet because not only is it difficult to dispense the product but I'm also never sure if the product is still fresh and how much product is remaining. It's really frustrating

    Just like the other reviews mentioned, there were strange particles in the dropper—possibly mold or fungus. The product also appeared to be oxidized. Very disappointing. I’m returning it.

    Big help with age spots on my hands!

    This worked almost immediately for me in fading and even eliminating age spots on my hands. I had read several website articles before buying and looked for a product that had ingredients known to work and this one seemed to have all of them. Seriously, within 3 days I noticed a big difference. I’m on week 2 and not only see a significant improvement in the spots but my skin is far less crepe like on the top of my hands. I’m a 60 year old man btw

    Best product for dark spots

    I have been battling dark spots/sun spots for many years. Ive gone to a few dermatologists that have prescribed hydroquinone and tretinoin and IPL. All those helped only a little. It's an ongoing battle since I live in Southern CA and play alot of outdoor sports. I'm amazed that this product is over the counter and has been the most effective for me. While my sun spots are still there, they're much lighter than they were and this is more effective than prescription topicals.

    New bottle triggered a major reaction

    I loved this serum at first, I’ve been using it regularly for over a year now and I’ve bought multiple bottles. However, I ordered a new bottle in the end of March and noticed they changed from a dropper to a pump (great call). Idk if they changed the formula too, but the very first use from the new bottle triggered a major allergic reaction on my face the next morning. I don’t have sensitive skin whatsoever, I’m a little acne prone but nothing major. Nothing else in my routine has changed recently. This was the very first time I’ve had such a severe reaction to ANYTHING topical. Super super disappointing and now I’m afraid to keep using it.
