Suffering bad with hayfever this item is an absolute gem! The improvement Iv seen in my allergies is insane. The remote is super handy to have during those lazy days and when adjusting from bed. The noise on the highest level is quite loud but I really don’t feel like it needs to be turned up to the max to be effective. The design is so sleek and stylish whilst being robust. Maintenance is super easy and you can buy replacement filters as and when you need. Just clip off the grill pull out and replace!

Perfect for what I bought it for. I do use essential oils but learned to clean out the actual purifier if you do. It does help and ensure that the room is not stuffy. I have allergies and have a huge pine tree near my window this cleared the air in my apartment and my allergies cleared up in a couple days. Do let it do its job. Overall takes a couple days to really power up and get going if you are looking for it to get rid of the smell, etc.

WoW! After reading the negative reviews, I guess I was blessed with a with a working gem! I purchased this system in April 2022 and it still works as expected and beautifully! Considering I had it running consistently 24/7 for 5 months straight after a mold remediation in my apt, in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The Remediation crew ran their own air scrubbers during the remediation. Once they were finished and deemed safe for me to re-enter, I ran the Shark Air Purifier 4 with Anti-Allergen Multi-Filter Advanced Odor Lock Smart sensing HE401 on Auto for about a straight 5 months and it definitely worked! The sensing system is very much on point! I had 2 dogs at the time and there was a definite difference, no doggie smells! As well, sometimes I would smoke a cig in the house and this sleek little turbo turned on immediately and scrubbed the air. The same thing happened when I would occasionally burn something on the stove or toast a bread too long. As well, I have allergies, live in a ground floor apt and in a tree dense area, which is heavily pollinated during the Spring. Needless to say, that Auto Setting was very helpful during the pollinating season and worked very, very well!!! I am indeed very, very happy with my Shark Air Purifier 4, Anti-Allergen Multi-Filter with Odor Lock Smart Sensing. I was definitely blessed with a working system. Praise Be! The only 2 Cons I have is: I wish it was More Energy Efficient!!! The Replacement Filters are Ridiculously & Abusively High!!!

Worked for a few months and then started malfunctioning. We were just past the return window of course so Target wouldn’t take it back. Shark sent a replacement that lasted a few weeks before malfunctioning as well. Won’t get over 65% clean air. Target won’t take back and Shark reps are useless.

I just got one this week and instantly it didn't work right. It shuts off randomly and always reads air quality as 100%. They're discontinued now.

We got it 2 weeks ago, ask us again in a month or two.

Can you wash the filters once they get dirty or do you have to replace them. If you have to replace; about how long does the initial filter last?

Just bought this today and having the same issue as everyone else, it says air quality is 100% in my moldy basement that is under construction after a flood. Highly doubt it filters 1000 sq ft like it says on the box. Even at max setting it doesnt move a whole lot of air

I bought this on Sunday, and have been using it every day since. I have noticed no difference at all since using it. Despite living in a dusty area and having a multi-pet household, it’s always says the air is 100% clean. My allergies disagree. Today I was wondering if it was just malfunctioning, because I noticed an immediate difference in the smell of the room and my allergies when I began using another brand’s air purifier in my bedroom. So I tested it by burning a couple of pieces of junk mail in the fire place, and having it plugged in a couple feet from the fireplace. Well, The air quality dropped to 96%, and despite running it at the highest level, the house reeks of smoke several hours later. I really regret the money we put into this. It would have been worth every penny if it actually did the job it claims to do, but it doesn’t.

Bought few weeks ago at this time look like there no change in my house it change the air but still have a problem with my nose I can’t breeze confortable is it mold or air exchange dirty I don’t know but still have the same problem…

Wife was having trouble with allergies and breathing. I thought this might help. Read reviews and decided to purchase this unit. Was very pleased with how the air quality inside can change with cooking, vacuuming, and other activities. This unit really seems to clear the air and my wife's breathing seems to have improved. Mainly use this unit in the bedroom. Unit is very quiet. The light weight and built-in handles makes it easy to move to other rooms. Very pleased with this air purifier.
