Affordable knife set
I love the look of these knives and holder. They hold up well too. The only thing I had to replace was the scissors. I used them so much for raw meat so I washed them often and I think they got rusted inside because I could no longer open them. Other than that, the set has worked out great for me.

Not durable
These are nice at first, but they don’t last. The handle started to crack and just break apart. I wouldn’t buy them. Now I need to buy a new set.

Pay close attention to cleaning instructions
I was pleasantly surprised by these at first - super sharp and nice to use. The steak knives are noticeably cheaper, they don’t have the weight to them that the cooking knives have, but still very functional. However, I didn’t realize you can really only hand wash these and in a few short months the handles are all cracking, some of them after just one cycle through the dishwasher. So, just be aware that these are very much hand wash ONLY. The block is nice and I’m planning to keep that and replace the knives with something dishwasher friendly one by one as they crack. If you have the time and energy to always make sure these get hand washed, then they’re a good set for the price.

Everything broke
These were all great Up until about the 6-month mark.. one by one, almost every one of the knives broke. They would break right where the handle meets the blade. I don't know if the plastic was just flimsy or what but none of these held up as they should have. Never again

Knives crack easily
Although the knife set is cute, it doesn't last. I got this as a wedding gift Feb 2023 and it is now Nov 2024 and the knife are all cracked and falling apart.

Quality Deteriorates Quickly
Knife set works well at first but falls apart too quickly with safety concerns. The knives have formed cracks around the handles where the blade is secured which is very unsafe. These cracks have formed over time through normal use (primarily cutting vegetables like onions and tomatoes and dicing chicken). The blades are starting to protrude from the knife as the cracks worsen. This is highly unsafe and could cause a serious injury. I will need to replace this set after less than two years of use. I wouldn’t recommend adding this to your wedding registry as it does not last over time.

Pieces break- dangerous- Do not buy!
Extremely disappointed in this set. I bought it because I thought Cuisinart was a reputable brand, however after having the set for not even a year, each piece began to fall apart. First, the scissors broke apart, then the plastic handles of the knives began to crumble off and break, leaving the knives extremely dangerous to use, as the blade moves when you try to cut with it. The pieces that aren’t broke. Have brown cracks in them. Just awful. I would love a refund.
