Don't buy! No coverage at all. Gets shiny within hours.
I bought the Stay Puff and it had no coverage at all no matter how much I build it. The powder is also like a rock, need to scrubb hardly to get some on the sponge. My face got so shinny in 3-4 hours. Tried it many times. A total waste of money.

my favorite
This pressed powder is light and doesn't clump or settle in lines but still gives a finished look. I sometimes use it in lieu of foundation when I want a no-makeup look and feel. Goes on easily with a powder brush.

Exactly the same as covergirl powder
I mean, it's fine. It's not "foundation" to literally any extent, it's just powder, the same as any powder. It doesn't cover any more than covergirl powder. It doesn't last any longer. It doesn't look different. It needs to go over an actual foundation if you want coverage. I got this for free as my diamond gift, and I use it frequently, but I wouldn't purchase it.

Meh
Used it for the first time, and I wasn't impressed. Bought one a few months ago, and now that I'm halfway through, the powder is starting to chip and big chunks are coming loose in the compact. It's very sheer and light, which I like, but I don't think it does a good job of keeping shine away. I either have to put on A TON, or constantly keep re applying for it to work well.

Worth using up, but wouldn't repurchase.
I got this powder because I wanted something sheer, lightweight and mattifying to set my liquid foundations, and to wear by itself on my light makeup days. On day one I noticed that this powder is VERY hard pressed and was difficult to pick up on the sponge that came with it. I had to actually scrape the hardened top layer of powder away to be able to pick up any product. The texture of the product is ok, but it isn't as finely milled or light as I was hoping. It has a tendency to feel thick and heavy especially if you use it for setting. I don't really like touching up with this powder throughout the day because of that. The shade range was a little strange too….The shade I got looks kinda grey and ashy on me, but it does oxidize a bit and looks more natural after a while. The other shade options looked like they'd be way too yellow to work for me, so I'm stuck with this one. As far as oil control, it does the job briefly but I find my oils come through pretty quickly and I'm not even a particularly oily person. Yet it dries my skin out significantly which is disappointing. I'm about halfway through my compact and the powder keeps getting hard and almost dried out, where the only way I can continue to use it is by scraping the top layer off again. I use it daily so I don't know why this happens. I've never experienced this with other pressed powders. I notice a lot of people had issues with the powder cracking fresh out the compact and I wonder if that's why. It just seems to dry out quickly. I will continue to use it up but I have too many issues with it to justify repurchasing.

Powder cracked
I've been using this powder for years. Recently (45 or so days after purchasing it) it became loose in the case and randomly cracked and started like crumbling. It was not dropped or anything. I tried to exchange it at the Ulta store I purchased it at, but because it was over 30 days they could not do anything. It is really frustrating because of the price I expect better quality. I had to buy a new powder.

Disappointed in Condition Received
I love this powder and have been using it for a few years. I like to purchase before I run out, so sometimes I do not open the product immediately. My last one lasted longer than expected, so I did not open the new one for a while after I received it. When I opened it, the makeup was no longer glued into the compact. I reached out to customer service who told me that it was past the 30 days, so they could not help me. I have had never had this issue before, so clearly it is on off or something. For the price, I expect quality which I did not receive this time.

For a translucent, sheer look
Have used this powder for many years. It's light, natural, never cakes. I use it only as a light face powder, day or night, although I guess it can be used dampened, for the foundation which I have not tried. I like the compact size, smaller and easy to open/close.

Product is incorrectly named on Ulta site
This is not a powder foundation. It is simply a pressed powder. As currently named, I would not recommend it, because it doesn't function as labeled by Ulta (this is not an error by Clinique). But it is a good pressed powder for touch-ups, if that's what you're looking for.

love it!
Clinique's Sheer-Matte Pressed Powder is a solid everyday staple. It does a great job controlling shine without looking heavy or cakey, and the finish truly lives up to the "sheer-matte" name. It smooths the skin nicely and sets makeup without dulling it. I also appreciate that it's fragrance-free and gentle—perfect for sensitive skin. The compact is sleek and practical for touch-ups throughout the day. While it won't give full coverage, it's excellent if you want a natural, polished look.

Crumbly mess!
I’ve used this product for about 12-15 years. I’ve noticed the last couple I’ve bought crumble easily without having been dropped. It’s a real bummer opening my compact in the car and getting all over my black dress and the seats in my car. I e only used this compact a few times. I’ll find another brand. Clinique always ends up ruining a good staple product.

I keep buying this
I have been using Clinique products for years. I have skin allergies and I have never had a reaction from Clinique. This pressed powder goes on smooth and the colors available match me well. I have combination skin and this lasts all day.

Make my skin matte
Have been used clique product for many years and love it. However, I experienced the powder compact cracking despite not being dropped or anything. It made it a mess to use and wasted a bunch of the powder Disappointed because I can't use all what I paid for it. This is the second time that I am end up throwing away the powder because unable to use without a mess.

The best face powder!
This matte face powder is the best! This covers everything as someone who has some dark spots on face (acne spots/breakouts) and rarely ever have to re-apply throughout the day. I've been using for years. Does not get cakey.
