We love these pencils! Both my kids have the tendency to bear down a little too hard which often snaps the lead in most pencils. These are super thick and extra sturdy so that doesn’t happen. My only complaint is I wish they were sold in a larger pack as well.

love these pencils only issue is the lead size 1.3mm is not available to be purchased alone if your trying to refill. The lead refill it comes with it will eventually run out, it would be nice if the brand offered that instore, it really sucks going on a hunt to find more and sellers over pricing them if you do find the papermate brand refills alone... so it leaves you to buy a different brand. technically the brand dont matter but for those who do care for that, it is hard to find lead alone. its just an all around great product and they should sell refills for it alone for both lead and the erasers. id recommend but just be aware of that. i like so much this is my second time purchasing lol my husband liked as well so i just had to get him his own set to have at work. :)

I did not like these mechanical pencils. It is hard to write clearly and nicely with these. The lead is too thick and has no angle. It also is not durable, with any sort of pressure the lead goes back up in the pencil. The handwriting turns out blurry. The only good thing is the pencils are cute.
