Description

The indoor evaporative air cooler and heater is multifunctional. It distributes cool air through the honeycomb cooling media while the dust filter cleanses the air. Q: How does the ice crsytal box work on this unit and does it need replacing? Also does this unit run on a battery or plug it in a wall outlet?

  • A: You need to plug it in wall outlet. When using the cooling unction, you need to put ice crsytal box in freezer to have then frozen, then add water in water tank, put the ice crsytal box into water tan.

    Runs longer and stronger than any marathon runner

    I bought this same unit about two years ago. It has been run 24 hrs a day almost 7 days a week since I bought it. For context when I bought it I was living in a trailer that was due to be torn down. There was mold in the walls, mice, hole in the roof, etc etc. This unit was my only source of heat, aircon, and air purification that whole time. It is still running strong to this day. Here soon I plan to buy another one, just in case this one quits. Keep making products like this costway, and you will have a life customer.

    The only thing I would change on this appliance is that you can't set the temperature. It cools well in the summer and the heat is great. Using this has cut my electric bill about 1/3.

    Sew Cool!

    I purchased this portable air cooler for my new sewing room, in my garage. I was hesitant because I live in TX and it is HAWTT! Surprisingly, this little cooler is working pretty well! This unit is really a 3-in-1...air cooler, heater, and humidifier. However, I have not used the humidifier or heater yet. I like that the cooler comes with 2 ice-crystal boxes, that you can add to the ice cold water, to strengthen the efficiency of the cooling. I also like the swing operation because it really helps to get the air circulating. On top of this, you do not have to sit close to the cooler, in order to feel it. I have a 2-car garage and this cooler does not cool the entire garage. So, I have purchased another unit :-) I MOST DEFINITELY recommend this air cooler!

    Not working as i hoped

    It's built well but does not blow cold air,the vent that came in box and have to be put on we're damaged.As I read the reviews and a lot stated it's a great item and gets cold but not as far as I am using it hasn't gotten cold more of a fan then anything.Not worth buying for my sake.I may possibly be returning the item due to it not working as well as I had hoped.

    Convenient and versatile

    I did use it a couple times in my office as a humidifier and both functions (cooling fan and humidifier) have been doing great. Noise level is low and it’s more convenient than a window unit.
