Sensor Broke Less Than A Year
The jug is easy to clean and replace filters but I'm not a fan of the open space at the spout. But the main reason for the bad review is my sensor just broke and I haven't even had this thing for a year. I hope they fix this because the earlier models were much better.

Poor Quality - Indicator Light Dead
Battery for filter-changing/indicator light should last 2-5 years. Only 1 year and 5 months later from purchase, it’s dead and unable to be changed. Solution is to buy a new one? We’ll use it until the rest of it breaks, I guess. But.. What a waste!!

Okay in beginning
Bought this to supplement my filtered water from fridge. After about a year the indicator light stopped working. Now I am unable to see when filter is needing replacement. Having to buy a new pitcher is counter productive to utilizing the pitcher to save on plastics. Need a way to replace indicator light.

Read the other reviews and heed them. This pitcher breaks. Had it 2 months and an unprovoked crack developed in the side and caused a leak. Poor quality, flimsy. It's too bad, now I have to find another brand of water pitcher to use. Brita is no longer up to any decent quality standard.

Low quality pitcher
I bought two of these pitchers in December. The first cracked within 6 months and had to be thrown out. The other pitcher had a problem with the "smart" indicator after 11 months, and the light now blinks continuously at all times. The battery can't be replaced so I'll have to toss the entire pitcher. What a waste of money. My next filtered water pitcher will NOT be from Brita.
