Good and not so good, but expensive.
The vacuum cleaner is on a par with my previous Dyson’s, expensive for what it is, but I do like the green light to show me all the bits I need to pick up. Full power is certainly powerful, but the eco setting leaves bits behind on the floor. I would really like a single attachment for carpet and hard floor, which I believe the V16 model has, but it is a flawed design and gets poor reviews, so I chose V15 instead (I also have the Gen5 which is similar). The washing attachment isn’t doing a better job than an ordinary mop, it leaves stains on my vinyl flooring and having to wash and dry the roller after every use is a pain. I don’t think Dyson has got this bit right.

I’m not very happy about the replacement mop head I have received. It’s not washing the floors as well as the original one. I notice a lot of spots the Dyson is not cleaning

The best!
I love almost everything about it. The only thing, it's very heavy. So if you use it more than 10 minutes at a time, you feel it in your hand and arm. With 3 cats, I needed a Dyson and it did not disapoint :).

Very Disappointed with this Dyson Vacuum Unit.
I bought this machine and all the picture showed that this Dyson had a green laser to show you the dirt etc., which does not exist plus the mop part never dries up the tiles or floors and leaves more water after cleaning. Very Disappointed. Made a big mistake purchasing this unit.

Great Vacuum, cleans and mops exceptionally well!
Brought a while ago, fantastic time, great run time, can do a large 4 bedroom carpet house and still have battery left. So much better than our old V10. Great capacity on the tub. Only have to empty and the end of the clear. Submarine attachment works great, would be great to be able to use hot water, but cleans incredibly well non the less. Very easy to use and gets under furniture easily. Overall fantastic vacuums! Highly recommend!!

Dyson V16 and attachments
I bought this product about 1 year ago and it’s still running like a dream. I have a golden retriever at home and this product if fabulous. The attachments included in the package also give you the advantage of getting into those tight spots. Suction if fantastic as it’s adjustable and the Dyson has the ability to even get under the bed. I love it. Totally recommend it, the floors have never been cleaner.

Excellent all rounder
Excellent. Use it on all floor surfaces with the one floor fitting. Cleans well. Have used wash fitting once and it did the job on the minor carpet mark.

The vacuum part is excellent for suction and ease of use. However, the wet suction drips dirty water everywhere and it's difficult to provide a good finish.

Dyson V 15 Detect Submarine
This vacuum is good on carpet, however the filter becomes blocked too quickly, so needs to be cleaned more often than my previous dyson, which is very frustrating as it takes 24 hours for filter to dry properly. it is also not as good on my cork floor compared to my older model. The floor wash attachment is good but washing the floor takes longer compared to the old fashion mop. the floor does dry more quickly which is handy. I think it would be great to have an extra filter to interchange.

New to Dyson vacuum
I have 2 Dysons, the 12 and 15, both bought in the last 2 months.They are convenient and work well. The light feature makes you realize how much dust settles in your home EVERY day, empty often. The 15’s wet/mop feature works well. I prefer the stop/start button on the 12 over the trigger finger lever on the 15, which is a lot bigger and heavier than the 12.
