The capsule has some sort of mint coating which gave me a bad acid reflux every time I tried to take it; it didnt matter if I ate first or not. I understand it was probably to combat the fishy smell but i ended up throwing it out because it made me feel ill everytime. If minty aftertaste doesn't bother you then the price is good for what it is.

Not burpless + causes heartburn
Causes fishy tasting and gross, oily burps. It gave me acid reflux so bad I vomited in my mouth. The capsules are indeed enormous but nearly all fish oil pills are.

If the product does not specifically state how much DHA and EPA it contains, it is an inferior product. This is a useless product. Do not purchase for any reason.

Weird after burp
My regular fish oil was out of stock so I purchased this one. And now I remember why I stopped using it. The after burp is SO odd. Like floral? I can't put my finger on it but it isn't pleasant. Pity. Cost is good. But ewww on the after burp.

The aftertaste and heartburn after taking this is horrible! It tastes like mint ice cream about an hour after, even taking at night it will wake you up. Yuck! Never had issue with any other fish oil brand, sorry love target but this is awful!

Minty and Burpless!
These are great! I like the minty taste, and they truly are burpless. They changed up the logo recently to their new up and up branding but I was glad to discover these are the same product I have previously purchased from them!

Half the Size Fish Oil
Half -the-size Fish oil by Target up & up is my new favorite fish oil. It is 100% wild caught and no fishy after taste. I have always struggled to take any supplements because I have a hard time swallowing them. I often have to cut pills in half to make them easier to get down. If you have a hard time swallowing pills these are the perfect size.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the up&up brand 100% Wild Caught Fish Oil 1000mg. We can assure you that the oil in this product is highly purified, including by molecular distillation, to remove potential contaminants such as mercury (as well as other heavy metals and potential ocean contaminants). Both the oil, before being encapsulated into the softgel, and the finished product, before being released, are tested for mercury; the results are consistently negative for the presence of mercury. Regarding tuna in particular, please note that the vast majority of mercury is found in the tuna meat, and not the fat from which the oil is extracted.

So far so good
They go down easily. There is no taste but I put them at the back of my throat anyhow. They don't smell wonderful but I can't imagine any fish supplements smell good. So far so good! Easy way to get the good stuff!

Why does this have natural flavors?
My husband needs to start taking fish oils because it helps with high cholesterol and crowded arteries. These are good since they’re 100% wildcat it does have bovine gelatin so it is not vegan unfortunately has natural flavors. I’m not sure why you have to do that.

Good Fish Oil Supplements
These Fish Oil soft gels are an excellent addition to the supplements I already take. They are a bit large but being a soft gel makes them easy to swallow. There is no discernible fishy taste or smell which is a bonus.

Quality ingredients, with no fishy taste
I started using this Fish Oil supplement a week ago after having used several different brands and varieties. One of the key aspects that I appreciate is the information provided to show the quality of the supplement. This 100% wild caught supplement gives me confidence that the contents are void of harmful ingredients. While the capsules are large in size, the coating provides an easy to swallow surface. And the amount provided makes a great trial to see if you feel the benefits. Last, for those who worry about the fishy taste or burbing, fear not. Taking this provides the omega 3 benefit of fish oil without the fishiness.
