Doesn't come off completely with water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In true Expo fashion the colors were nice and deep, HOWEVER these do not wipe clean, with water, as easily as the standard markers do. The color blue really lingered, along with red slightly after just a few seconds. I had to spray and let it sit whiteboard spray to remove them completely. I'm afraid that if left for longer it might stain the board.
Another great product from EXPO……

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been loving how useful these Expo Wet Erase Markers are in my day-to-day—whether it’s labeling jars or doing tracing activities with my kid. The fine tips make everything look neat and the bold colors really pop. They wipe off easily with a damp cloth and I haven’t had any issues with smudging. The only downside is the funky smell when you first open them—it’s pretty strong at first, but it fades quickly. Still, they’ve earned a permanent spot in my stationery drawer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll let the markers talk for themselves with this picture 👀 I love them! They’ve got a fine point which I love , the colors are bold and it’s very easy to clean off the whiteboard , (the x you can see peeking through is from a different marker brand that I don’t prefer) but these ones are great and I would recommend them !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these markers for labeling things. The fact that you can write on glass with them and then erase it if needed is pretty awesome. The ink is nice and bright. They are compact and don’t take up much space in my junk drawer. I will definitely look into other items from this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Expo in return for my honest opinion. I've always been a fan of Expo markers above other brands for their durability and writing consistency. This set is no exception. They write smoothly and don't drip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love markers because one of my hobbies is coloring. It helps me to relax and be creative. The ink is bright, packaging is great. I’ve been using them for coloring and so far so good. I tried the erase part and it works wonderfully. I think is a good product versus value. Accomplished the function of it. They precise to coloring fine pictures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for dry erase wall planners and grocery lists! The ink stays on unless you clean it off with water, so no accidentally erasing something as you brush by. The set has a versatile number of colors, and I love the fine tipa for writing in cursive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these Expo Wet Erase Fine Tip Markers every day for homeschooling my 4-year-old on tracing boards, and they’ve been a great investment. For the value, I think they’re definitely worth the price since they last a long time and don’t dry out as quickly as cheaper markers if I’m careful to cap them. The ink flow is smooth and consistent, so the lines are always clear and bold, which helps my daughter see exactly where to trace. They’re really versatile—I use them on laminated sheets, plastic tracing boards, and even on some coated flashcards without any smudging. The packaging was simple but kept the markers organized, and I like that it’s easy to see the colors at a glance. Ergonomically, they’re comfortable to hold for both me and my daughter, with a slim barrel that’s easy for little hands to grip, which makes our lessons go more smoothly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As somebody who works with kids and uses whiteboards all the time, these whiteboard markers are the absolute best and a staple to have in any classroom. It’s the only brand I’ve ever bought, and I love that. These are thin for writing.

Does not dry down, it will always smudge no matter how long you wait. It’s also extremely transparent.

Hello, thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience with the EXPO® 4ct Wet Erase Fine Tip Markers. Wet-erase markers are designed to stay in place until wiped off with a damp cloth, making them ideal for use on non-porous surfaces like overhead transparencies, laminated calendars, menu boards, and glass. However, if they smudge easily or never seem to fully dry, that may point to a mismatch with the writing surface or a formulation issue. Here’s what might be causing the smudging and transparency: Surface Compatibility Wet-erase markers must be used on non-porous, completely smooth surfaces. If used on porous or semi-gloss boards, the ink may not adhere properly, which leads to smudging or streaking, even after drying. Ink Characteristics Wet erase ink remains water-soluble and won’t "dry" the way permanent or dry erase ink does. It bonds to the surface but can still smudge if exposed to moisture, friction, or oils from your hands. The fine tip version is designed for precision, but it does lay down less ink, which can result in a lighter, more transparent appearance, especially in lighter colors or when writing on white backgrounds. To Improve Performance: Make sure you're using the markers on smooth, laminated, glass, or plastic surfaces. Let the ink sit undisturbed for a few minutes before touching it. Though it’s not permanent, the bond will strengthen slightly over time. Avoid surfaces with matte finishes or light texturing they don’t allow the ink to settle and dry correctly. If you’re using these markers for tasks where smudging or faint colors are a concern (e.g., whiteboards or high-touch surfaces), you may want to consider: Try EXPO® Dry Erase Markers (Chisel or Fine Tip) for better visibility and faster dry times on traditional whiteboards. For bolder wet erase performance, consider the EXPO® Vis-à-Vis® Wet Erase Markers, which are formulated to offer darker, more opaque lines. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback has been shared with our quality team for review. If you need our help, please reach out to us via our official website contact form, and we will be happy to assist further. Thank you! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a lefty, I always have trouble with dry erase markers since they rub off on my hand immediately. Luckily with these, they are a bit more permanent and dry quickly with bold color so that my hand stays ink free and it all stays on the white board or whatever surface I am writing on! Love this, just wish that the plastic on the blue one didn't break during shipping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using Expo Wet Erase Markers, and I’m genuinely impressed with how smooth they are to write with. The ink flows effortlessly, creating bold, vibrant lines that are easy to read from a distance. Whether I’m writing on transparencies, laminated surfaces, or whiteboards, the markers glide across without skipping or dragging. What I really appreciate is the control these markers offer they feel precise, so I can write neatly without worrying about smudges or uneven lines. The wet erase ink stays put until I’m ready to wipe it off with a damp cloth, which helps prevent accidental erasing during presentations or note-taking. If you’re looking for markers that deliver clean, consistent strokes and a smooth writing experience, I highly recommend the Expo Wet Erase Markers. They’re a reliable choice for both professional and personal use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers are a good improvement to traditional dry erase. They do smudge after writing if you wipe with a dry tissue, but cleans up entirely with just water. Pigment of the ink is good and holding it in hand is similar to a normal pen versus a thicker marker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun concept if you often accidentally wipe your dry erase markers but don't want the additional hassle of buying special liquid. The colors are bold enough and are otherwise just as good as regular markers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers work very well. The colors are vibrant enough to see on the dry erase board. They remind me of the overhead projector markers used when I was in school. They only need a tiny bit of water and a paper towel to be able to completely erase without leaving a residue behind. They also don’t smudge or budge easily with just the swipe of the hand across the writing it will take a little more effort to remove.
