    Bring back the old formula

    New formulation is awful. Super greasy and doesn’t rub in nicely like the old sensitive face sunscreen. Bring back the old formulation!

It was not very black girl friendly, as it left a noticeable and purplish cast. It sat on the skin as opposed to melting in. Thank you but no thank you!

I use this product almost daily, it works so great, it smells so good. It’s a sunscreen smell if you are sensitive to smells you may want to steer clear from this one. But I really enjoyed it, it didn’t leave a sheen on my skin but I was also careful not to slather myself too much.

    New formula is greasy

    I'm soooo disappointed and sad that the formula has changed. It's so greasy and makes my skin feel slimy. It also makes me break out. I used to put it on every single day (the spf 30 for sensitive skin) even if I wasn't going outside. Now I hesitate to put this on even when I'm going to be spending a lot of time out in the sun. I really hope Blue Lizard brings back their old formula. Until then, I guess I have to find a new brand which I'm super sad about. Another thing: with the old formula, I could tell when I put it on but the white color would fade. With the new formula, it's super obvious I have something all over my face. So, I can't use it for any non-sport related things because I look gross.

    This is so greasy and shiny, and absolutely not sheer. Bring back the Sensitive Face 30 formula!!! It was perfect. You even have a picture of it on the website in new packaging yet it's nowhere to be found. It's misleading!

It is a very thick product and a little goes a long way! It truly does absorb after rubbing it in to your skin-the sheer statement is true! There is no weird or lingering scent, it is practically odorless. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a daily spf! I wear it under my makeup and have not had any issues with pilling / separation. Fantastic product! Images attached are my skin immediately after application.

    Terrible Formula Change

    The new formulation is completely different from before, it is more liquidy, feels greasy on the skin, it runs and doesn't dry down, meaning it starts greasy and remains feeling greasy. The new formula runs in the eyes and your eye gets greasy. The previous formula wasn't runny, wasn't greasy, and dried down to a comfortable and dry finish. The previous formula did not irritate the eyes. I have been using Blue Lizard for over 20 years, I know the product line and I was a loyal customer, I am very, very disappointed in this change because the face sunscreen formulation was their ONLY formula that dried down to a non-greasy finish. This greasiness is not acceptable for the face, especially in climates that are humid. The positive reviews are from people who received free product. Please bring back the old formula, this new greasy version makes no sense for the face and is similar to the sensitive formula for the body. There are already options for people who like or don't mind a greasy, shiny, tacky finish.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how clean the ingredients are and I’ve always heard great things about the brand. This sunscreen applies well and feels super moisturizing. It does give a little white cast but that’s normal for a mineral sunscreen. I’d use a moderate amount only because if you apply too much, it does feel very greasy and makes it difficult to layer makeup on top. Unfortunately I developed a weird allergic reaction to this a few hours after applying and it took my skin weeks to recover so I don’t think I can’t continue to use. Otherwise it feels like a solid product.
