Q: Why the brush head stop spinning? I just bought this vacuum

A: Hello. We recommend checking for clogs or obstructions near the brush roll. The Dirt Devil Standing Vacuum is designed to check these areas quickly. Remove the powered nozzle from reach wand. Using your fingers or a coin, push and turn the brush roll lock counter-clockwise to release the brushroll. We recommend cleaning that area and re-installing. We are confident this should restore the performance of your unit.

A: Great questions! With the push of a button, you can empty the Dirt Cup and the roller brush design keeps the hair from clogging the roller. You can pop out the roller brush and clean it with ease.

Bad design
The hose ripped apart in the head of the vaccum and it’s extremely hard to replace. Used it for a month. It’s doesn’t have any give to it so when you lean the vaccum back it’s going to break.

I love this little cordless wonder! It’s perfect for the quick clean up, but also can handle our carpeted bedrooms. The battery lasts just long enough, but recharges quickly if you need to keep going. Parts are easy to clean (house full of long haired girls & two dogs!) easy to empty as you go room to room.

Awesome vacuum. The charge holds and it's got a powerful motor. Same for the handheld vacuum - awesome motor. It's lightweight and easy to carry. I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested in a stick vac.

Good suction but poor battery run time. Battery charge lasts only about 25-35 mins and takes 2 hours to fully charge. Light is a nice function.

Ok but not great
The connection where the bottom piece connects to the main stick piece was bent upon arrival. We were able to bend it back enough to make it work. However the suction is not great on this vacuum, would not recommend.

I like this better than the tineco stick. It swivels so much better to get into odd areas and seems like it picks up better too. Attachments make cleaning areas easy. Great bang for the buck!

Loved it until It broke
Two things unfortunately happened not long after I bought it. First of all the beater head clamp that controls the movement of the head broke and secondly, the felt on the bottom over the metal came off so it scratches my wood floors. Up until then, it was very convenient and easy to use. If dirt devil would like to replace, I'd be good with that.
