Terrible.
This vitamin gave both of my boys extreme anxiety, jitters and energy. They were unable to go to bed. I used this for two nights and both nights my kids were up like there had a large coffee.

I don’t believe this is a good product for kids or anyone. My kid almost choked on it because of the strong taste so I tried mixing it in with yogurt that was a little better. I also tried the product to see if it works and to taste it I honestly thought she was being dramatic but she wasn’t. This product is a no for my family and I.

Great for kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This had a great taste, and my children had no problem taking it. I have no idea how beneficial it truly was, but their pediatrician did say that it looked like a great product and can definitely help. We store it in a dark place in our medicine cabinet, and it lasts pretty long. It’s a pretty big bottle.

PSA...metal flakes!
PARENTS! Please check your doses for metal flakes. I noticed for the first time (after several doses) that there were metal flakes in my son's dose. I checked my other son's little medicine cup that I use for dosing and there was a metal flake stuck to the side of his as well. After investing, I discovered that the plastic/metal seal that they use is flaking off into the product. SEE PICTURES. This seal is difficult to remove and doesn't remove completely, so any seal left behind when pulling off will flake off into the product. So while giving my boys their daily vitamins and minerals, I was also giving them a dose of who knows what...? Aluminum? Not happy.

Works well, but has some drawbacks

That being said he doesn’t enjoy the flavor of it as much. The first few times he had to choke it down, but now he tolerates it. I also don’t like that it has to be refrigerated after opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The white color was surprising and makes it hard to add into juice and the berry flavor makes it hard to add to milk for that reason. My 6 yr old will drink tiny sips of this but I have not noticed it having any calming effect in the evenings

Tastes pretty good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has some great vitamins and the taste isn’t bad! I tried it myself - it’s a milky consistency but with a candy-like taste. I didn’t notice a huge difference in sleep, but regardless, the vitamins in it are beneficial. There’s also no artificial colors, which I love! Overall, a win!

Since I started giving my kids the product, they sleep much better and last time my son got sick with some virus, he definitely recovered much faster then usual (now that might be the result of using the product on daily basis). My kids really like sweet berry taste of the product and every evening asking for it themselves (which is great for me since sometimes I forget to give it to them).

Smells better than the nighttime one!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personally, I would never spend this much on a vitamin when my children enjoy the gummy vitamins. The packaging design is cute, and it doesn't smell horrible like the nighttime vitamin. My son took it easier than the nighttime one because it didn't smell as bad, but he still didn't like the taste. The ingredients are healthy, and I like that, but I'm not sure about the effectiveness because my son only tried it 1 time and wanted his dummies back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really was hopeful about this product. MaryRuth is a quality product line and carries all the goods. But I was let down by a few aspects. 1) (yes I know this is dumb) the wrapper is connected to the cap. I didn’t realize so when I pulled at the tab, it took the wrapper off. You need the wrapper for measurements. 2) it’s THICK. 3) the flavor is really strong 4) it’s creamy. Comments 2-4 are what I’m referencing in the title - kids do not like strong flavors and thick liquids. Maybe creamy - they do drink milk. But I could never get either of my children to swallow this. They immediately went on alert thinking it was an antibiotic because of the color and thickness. So I tried it for myself. No. Just no. I’ll give them credit for ease - liquid vitamins could be a game changer. But certainly not for my kids

Not Bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids found this vitamin supplement okay. The taste was interesting to them. My daughter liked the taste of it where as my son didn’t like it saying it tasted like yogurt. I found that this night time supplement did help them sleep since it had melatonin and was easier to remember to have them take at night instead of the morning one. Since they were taking both the nighttime one and the morning one by this brand I wouldn’t be able to notice a difference in energy/benefits of the vitamins since it was only for a month. I would have to continue to see any impacts. I think if your child has issues with the texture of the liquid and flavor they may not take it. Other than that I would recommend and continue to try this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child loves the Berry Sherbet flavor—it’s a rare supplement they actually look forward to taking. Since starting MaryRuth’s Nighttime Multi-Mineral, bedtime has been smoother, and they seem more rested in the mornings. I love that it’s melatonin-free and packed with calming minerals like magnesium and calcium. Bonus: it’s vegan and allergen-free. Definitely a must-have for our nightly routine!
