Q: Does this rug have variation in color, or is it all exactly the same color? (The photos show variation but it's hard to tell if that's the way the light hits the shag or actual differences.) Thanks!

  • A: Hello Sharon. The Primary color is Ash Gray. Differences in computer monitors can cause rug colors to vary slightly and it is possible the colors may seem lighter or darker in images online or in person. The silhouette image of the products attached, will best show how the rug looks in person for our rugs as it replicates the average lighting.

    I bought this area rug with a pad. I was skeptical because of the reviews that said they could not get the wrinkles out. What has worked for me was to vacuum the rug. When you do that you can see the carpet stretch thus removing the wrinkles. I had to vacuum a few times to make it set. I just wish it was a little darker. However, I am happy with my purchase. This was the first encounter with Rugs com. I would buy from them again. I did some research about steam cleaning it to get the wrinkles out. Since it is 100% polyester it said you could do it. However if you have a pad underneath you could melt it I guess. My plan was to use a hand held steamer. I didn't have to do that. The vacuuming was enough. I give them 4 stars.

    Exactly as described. Great value!

    Surprisingly good quality for the cost. Quality materials. Quality manufacturing. No smell. Essentially no shedding occurring, after an initial unrolling & vacuuming. It's not that thick/heavy, so the edges/corners aren't likely to flatten 100% by themselves. But we always assume this and use carpet tape to secure the edges. Definitely a great purchase. 2 thumbs up!
