New packaging absolutely sucks! Please redesign to make opening and easy process

Vital Proteins has abandoned any pretense of meeting the needs of it customers. Marketing an illusory benefit to the planet by replacing a functional package with garbage and eliminating the scoop. The two things that top all bad reviews, Degrade and cheapen product and sell as added value. Profit margin increases, customer satisfaction plummets and planet does not care.

I hate your packaging enough to use any other brand. I ended up cutting the package open and transferring the power to a different container - one that works.

I love the product - but the newish cardboard container is ridiculous - it takes forever to get the stupid thing open, and then the 'lid' doesn't fit nice and tightly! If I I had not saved one of the original plastic containers that I can transfer it to, I would never purchase it again. PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE!!! And, why on earth do I have to enter a nickname to submit a comment?!!

I cannot get past the cardboard container it’s sold it! You CANNOT open it without ripping the container. EXTREMELY unacceptable!!! Doesn’t matter how good the product is. NEEDS immediate change!!!!

The product is amazing! The packaging is AWFUL! I don’t care how environmentally responsible you want to be, bring back the plastic containers and scoops. I’m so glad, I saved my scoop before you cancelled those too. This packaging is the absolute WORST! Its lid is not steady or reliable, if I grab it I have to make sure to hold the lid, so it doesn’t spill. You should listen to your customers about this and stop telling us how you’re trying to be better for the environment! Just improve this cheap paper container already!

Having been using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for five years, it is so convenient to have the travel packs to use on trips. I never miss my daily peptides!

Mixes well with coffee and doesn’t change the taste of the coffee

I love this product but your new packaging is impossible for my 70 year old hands to open. Please make this easier. You intention was great, the execution was very poor.

Thank you for switching to paper-based packaging. Sure, I had a bit of a struggle the first time but I figured it out. I appreciated the motivational encouragement on the packaging instructions. :) Also, my skin feels younger and more resilient, so I'm hoping that's translating to all the other internal components of my body too!

This nasty sludge caused me to stay EXTREMELY bloated for over a week. Buyer beware. Deeply consider how badly you may feel looking as if you’re 20 pounds heavier after taking this supplement. It used to only be a 2 tablespoon serving and now they want you to take 4 tablespoons. They are adding fillers and there is something deeply wrong with this company. My gastric health was ruined by this overpriced product. I had trapped gas that left me in severe pain. I would not wish it on my biggest enemy. Went to bed bloated woke up bloated. No amount of anti gas medication helped either. No amount of water. I was stuck in a never-ending purgatory of having a giant hard belly for over a week. It affected my mental health and made me extremely depressed, and I couldn’t even look in the mirror. The worst bloating I have literally ever experienced. It was definitely this product because it was the only new thing I had introduced to my daily routine. If you experience this type of bloating, even one day after taking this product, I suggest you stop immediately. Hopefully this comment helps confused individuals who put faith in this product, thinking it was going to make improvements to their life only to tear it apart.

Very disappointed that they changed taste and texture. Now tastes like protein and doesn't mix well. Also hate cardboard box

Omgoodness!!! I LOVE this stuff!! I’m a new customer, but am hooked! Why!? Because when I add the powder ever so delicately to the inside of my low carb peanut butter strawberry jelly honey sandwich tortillas it forms a beautiful jel that is AMAZING to bite into! Especially with a sprinkle of cacao nibs … and maybe some banana slices and a few blueberries 🫐!! Am I crazy!? Yes!! 🙌 I’m a forever customer! Taking product daily. I love that it dissolves instantly and is tasteless! I take it in my morning coffee.

I've been using the Vital Proteins collagen for about 6 months now and do see improvements in my health, but I've also made other dietary and lifestyle changes so hard to attribute the results to any one isolated product like this. I really like the cardboard canisters now, only slightly tricky to get open the first time and "loosen" the cardboard, then a very clear foil seal underneath that to unseal the product. Though I wish they were smaller canisters since the product settles and there's no need to have a gigantic container that is never even half full. I realize I purchased X ounces of product, I'm not mad at the value, I'm just annoyed I need a taller shelf to store it on. :) I use my own tablespoon scoop, easily run through the dishwasher regularly and I don't add plastic waste with a scoop with every canister. I also wish the exact types of collagen and their amounts were called out more clearly, but I suppose if we could easily compare brands then we wouldn't pay for the brand names. But overall this dissolves easily - if I put it in a dry cup and then pour coffee on top I usually don't even need to stir it in. It has no detectable flavor when mixed with my coffee and I love this unflavored version so I could add my own cocoa, cinnamon, matcha, sweetener of choice, milk, etc. as I personally prefer. But I have considered trying the sweetened and flavored single-serve sticks for travel when hotel coffee is bad. I don't need other supplements added here either since those are all available in other forms and you can dose as needed separately.

After being a loyal consumer for years, this is my last purchase due to horrible packaging. It’s next to impossible to open without spilling some out! Boo!

New packaging impossible and I think it is the reason it was full of bugs. I’ve been using this product for years and never have had problems like this.

I don’t understand why so many people are giving one-star reviews because of the new packaging. I think it’s great that this company is being more mindful of plastic, and honestly, you have to be kind an ogre if you’re messing up opening and closing this product. Great product and happy to have less plastic containers!
