As someone who's always on the go, I was thrilled to add the Roomba i105 to my home, and let me tell you—it's exceeded every expectation! This little robot vacuum has become my new best friend, handling the daily dirt and dust with such ease that I can't imagine life without it.First off, the setup was a breeze. It connected to my Wi-Fi in minutes via the iRobot app, and mapping my apartment took no time at all. The smart mapping feature is spot-on—it navigates around furniture, cords, and even my cat's toys without missing a beat. I love how I can schedule cleanings from my phone, so it runs while I'm at work, and I come home to spotless floors every time.Performance-wise, the i105's dual rubber brushes pick up everything from pet hair to crumbs and fine dust on both hard floors and low-pile carpets. It's got 10 times the suction power of older basic models, which makes a huge difference in my multi-surface home. The auto-adjusting cleaning head is genius—it lifts up on carpets to avoid getting stuck and adjusts suction as needed. And the self-emptying base? Total lifesaver! It holds weeks' worth of debris, so I don't have to think about emptying it constantly.What I love most is how quiet and efficient it is. It doesn't disturb the household, and the battery life gets me through multiple rooms on a single charge. Battery doesn’t last 5 minute and it’s already heading back to the dock to charge

It sucks like it should. It's really cool.

This newer model compared to the older one is trash. The mapping doesn’t work, it stays stuck in the same 10x10 section for majority of the time and it never docks itself. Battery life runs out after 40 minutes and it’s brand new.

I had previously bought a vacuum but after 5 years it was no longer holding a charge so I bought this one as a replacement. It can’t even clean my 1,000 square foot apartment without running out of battery. It is quieter but seriously it should be able to clean my apartment without having to stop and recharge. The app makes it easy to set a schedule and to monitor what it’s cleaned but not happy with battery life.

I’m obsessed with my roomba.

The ClearView LiDAR system makes a huge difference & it maps my entire apartment quickly and avoids obstacles with ease, even in low light. One of my favorite features is how well it gets into corners and along the edges. I’ve noticed way less dust building up in those tricky spots. Setup was a breeze, and the app gives you full control over scheduling, cleaning zones, and more. Perfect for anyone who wants to keep their floors clean without the hassle. I have hardwood floors with some area rugs, and it handles the transition like a pro. Bonus points for the minimalist design that doesn’t look out of place.

I downloaded the app to use and control the machine from my phone. The first thing the roomba does is map out your home. I had the figure out the best place to keep the charging base, which didn’t take too long. Once the roomba is placed/housed on the base, it keeps charging until you need to use it. When in use, I was surprised that the roomba was able to move from carpet floors to hardwood and back to carpet with no issues. The machine itself is large, but not too big. The noise level when cleaning is also pretty low. The only slightly loud noise is when the automation on the robot comes on, such as to say that the roomba is charging. Anything the roomba picks up goes into a small compartment and is beyond easy to take out and dispose. This iRobot Roomba is so great and convenient. It’s made vacuuming easy and stress free.

It keeps the floors clean without much effort from me. The battery lasts around 90 minutes, which is enough to clean a few rooms. I like how it goes back to the charger on its own when it’s low, so I don’t have to worry about it. It’s not too noisy, which is great when the baby is napping. You can still hear it, but it’s much quieter than a regular vacuum. Roomba picks up dust, crumbs, and pet hair well on both hard floors and carpets. It sometimes misses a few spots or corners, but overall, the floors stay clean day to day. It’s built well and hasn’t had any issues. It gently bumps into furniture without causing damage, and regular cleaning of the brushes keeps it running smoothly. It moves around the room using smart sensors. It may look random, but it usually covers everything. It also avoids stairs and obstacles nicely. In conclusion having a baby means less time for chores, and the Roomba really helps with that. One star off for minor misses in tight spots, but it’s still a great tool for a cleaner home with less work.

The app is easy to use, and I liked the functionality of mapping out the cleaning space. The battery life isn’t as long as I thought because it lasted less than the full run time of the Roomba. I think it will hold up over time because it is designed to gently bump into obstacles and try its hardest to get around them and clean every space. I was impressed how it reaches under furniture and adjusts its strength based on floor type. Plus he is so cute and you can name it on the app. My cat is wary of it but she will adjust!

It can be tricky to understand how it maps the rooms and it does get stuck on cords so be careful. Best for open spaces like a living room. Not a bathroom with rugs (it tried to eat mine)! I have a very fluffy dog who leaves behind a trail of fur, but the Roomba 105 hasn’t had any trouble picking up all the fluff and dirt. The single roller design and front-side sweeper do a great job of getting close to walls and corners, which I really appreciate. One of my favorite features is the smart assistant integration—I connected it to my Alexa and can now start a cleaning session with a voice command (it also works with Siri and Google Assistant). The app lets me choose between light, medium, and deep cleaning modes, and I’ve even set up a custom cleaning schedule that works perfectly with my routine. While this version doesn’t include a mopping function, I honestly don’t mind—I’m just thrilled to finally own a Roomba. It’s been a game-changer for keeping my home clean with minimal effort.

Definitely would not recommend this vacuum. If you have any form of carpet in your home, the brush roll will stop 10 seconds after it gets on carpet and standard carpet at that how you will know is the suction power will decrease and you will hear a very slight popping noise and I really wanted to love this vacuum because of the brand and was super excited that they finally released a lidar version
