Shubug Pull it! Anti-Itch Treatments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of kids who hate bugs and absolutely cannot stand mosquito bites, I knew I needed this tool. It’s so easy to use. My kids are typically quite sensitive to mosquito bites and deal with swelling and redness at the site, but this tool has helped decrease the effects quite significantly. I’ve noticed a lot less swelling and redness after the initial bite and they’re no longer scratching away at it until it scabs. The suction is gentle and doesn’t cause them any pain. I think they quite like it as they often ask for me to do it on their skin. Definitely kid friendly and recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’ve only used this product on mosquito bites and a bee sting and I will say that it absolutely 100% helps stop the itching and the burn burning from bites and stings. I know it states that it works on other insect bites, but luckily I haven’t been bitten by any other or strong. But definitely recommend for mosquito bites and bee stings.

It’s durable and easy on your skin! I’m sure some might be sensitive but you can always test it out or have someone else test it out before using it on a bug bite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're always outdoors, so mosquito bites are inevitable, even after using repellent. We were looking for a simple solution that may help with itching so our daughter doesn't scratch and decided to try the Shu Bug Pull It. The premise is simple in that you put the little device over your bug byte and pull the trigger back to form a suction, which will allegedly pull out the venom and stop the itching. Overall, I found that the suction was not strong enough to actually pull anything from the bite. And while I did not find it to be painful, my five year old daughter did not like the sensation. Needless to say, this is a bust in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Among the lessons I’ve learned in this experience, the biggest one is that a deadline during a New England winter for a bug bite is challenging. While accepting this opportunity, I thought…great, this will arrive in the spring, perfect. And then it arrived in February. The 8 foot snowbanks and tundra like temps mocked me. Each day I looked out of the window, hoping for a sign of fake spring. By late March, it snowed another foot and I nearly sighed. But by some miracle, while out for a walk this weekend on a sunny 41 degree day, it happened! Like the alien in Lilo & Stitch who was excited to see a mosquito, I’d been chosen. I’m not even fully sure what it was, but it bit me and it itched all the same. Enter: Shubug’s Pull It. It claims to provide relief from bug bites and stings and it was super simple to use. I centered it over the bite, plunged out the air, and then drew back the handle for 10 seconds, feeling my skin drawn up into the tube. You will feel this part for sure. Then you release the handle again. It says to repeat, and I was skeptical, but I did it two more times, and the itching did stop. Overall, it’s an easy tool to keep on hand, and it definitely provided relief. I much preferred it to a topical treatment which are hit or miss.

It was super easy to use, was not uncomfortable, and it was literally instant relief from the itching. It’s very nice that no messy creams or sprays are needed for relief and a bonus that you can use for any age! It seems very well made, so should be able to use for a long time. I will be keeping this close by and am certain I will be using it plenty this summer.

I keep one in the glove box of the car and then one in our upstairs, first aid kit, and one in the downstairs kit. It’s a simple yet highly effective tool for easing the itch from bug bites and even helping to draw out stingers for easier removal. The duel – ended design is very practical – one side features a smaller opening for pinpointing smaller bites or stings, while the other end has a wider opening for larger areas. It’s completely pain-free to use and noticeably helps reduce itching while speeding up the healing process. This is quickly become a must have in our home.

It’s super lightweight and small, so it’s really easy to throw into a bag for hiking, traveling, or just keeping on hand. It didn’t completely take away to itch, but it did seem to help a little. I think this would be helpful in situations where you catch a bite early. Overall, it’s a convenient and portable option to have just in case, especially for outdoor activities.

It’s basic smooth plastic with a sticker logo stuck to it. It can come apart for cleaning. It’s a quick smooth pull when using it. Doesn’t take long. It suctions to the skin and depending on how hard you do it, a pool of blood could happen. I have not been bitten by a bug to know if it is truly effective. I will return when that happens & update.

I get eaten up by mosquitoes and tend to itch horribly for days after and this really worked. It prevents me from scratching so bad it gets worse. The suction is extremely gentle, and only leaves a little ring for a moment. It's super portable for camping or games, so you can always have it near by. It's beyond affordable, too. I think this may make my summer a little easier!

They used to be in most first aid kits from the 70 and 80s. Advertised for snake bites, scorpion bites, etc.. No creams, no chemicals, no pain! Even a kid could use it the right way. For all skin types. Small convenient size for easy portability.

It doesn't hurt to use, just some slight suction but enough to get the job done. It's small so it easily fits in your purse or medicine cabinet. Definitely worth it if the skeeters love you!

What an awesome little gadget with good suction power! I love that you have the option to flip the suction to a smaller size for stings/bites on fingers and toes as well. And the extra doohickey on the “handle” that scrapes the stingers out is a nice touch.
