    my afternoon drink of choice

    I love Hojicha. . . my only complaint is that they don't offer this in a bulk amount - like the sweetened matcha powder. This will always be in my cupboard, and makes a wonderful drink for a afternoon break.

    I had not heard of Hojicha until I saw you offered it. I bought a bag and have really enjoyed its robust depth of flavor. I make a hot latte out of it with plant milk of some sort. Yummy!

    Different than matcha but delicious

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very different than matcha, so it took some getting used to but now I love it! I appreciate the nutty, toasty flavor and there's aaalmost a hint of a light chocolate-y taste. I enjoy mine iced, with oat milk, vanilla paste, and a few dashes of cardamom. It's great to have this in rotation alongside my usual matcha.

    Solid Hojicha

    This hojicha is definitely cafe quality! It’s delicious iced, hot, put in a latte, and used for baking. It has the deep earthy taste I love but it doesn’t taste burnt like others I’ve had in the past. I do feel that a bit gets wasted with the way you have to store it but that’s my only critique.

This one is so flavorful and really packs a punch for just a small amount of powder. I like to mix a heaping 1/2 teaspoon with water, and then add it to 1.5 cups of soy milk to make a latte. So good!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already start my day off with JLM's ceremonial grade matcha, and now I've added a JLM iced hojicha latte mid-morning to my daily routine. The hojicha is high-quality, and the flavor pairs perfectly with creamy oatmilk. It's unlike any tea-based beverage I've tried: earthy, but not grassy (like some folks think matcha is), with rich and nutty notes too. Love this product, and can't recco it highly enough!
