Love this shampoo and conditioner
Absolutely the best shampoo for fine hair with the conditioner to add volume with shiny, silky, smooth styling. Makes blonde highlights shine and smells great. I also use a small amount of Ouai anti- frizz afterwards which has a cool minty scent.

I love the ouai shampoo and conditioner for fine hair! Ive been using ouai hair products consistently for almost 3 years now and my hair is so much thicker and healthier because of it! I have bleached fine hair and it adds just the right amount of hydration that doesn't make it feel heavy but makes it feel soft! 10/10 would recommend to anyone with fine hair looking to get thicker more voluminous hair.

My hair is very fine due to medical reasons and I usually use Sebastian light but lately it is very hard to find without the dark oil so this was my alternative and I'm glad I tried it because I love it. It gives me the same balance with a little plump

Didn't clean hair well
I normally buy a cheaper shampoo but decided to give this one a try. I have fairly oily hair and typically wash it every other day. After using this shampoo a couple of times, my scalp was so dry to the point that it's caused dry skin/dandruff flakes. On top of that, my hair looked noticably greasy within 12 hours of washing. I went back to my other shampoo and sure enough, my hair is now back to it's usual self.

I tried this after Wirecutter recommended it and I immediately saw why they did. It's expensive but you really don't need much at all — I have long hair and even with that just about a dime is enough. I've been using it as basically a reset shampoo all winter and haven't noticed any of the damage or dryness I normally have this time of year. It doesn't necessarily add volume by itself, but it DOES lift all the junk off my kinda greasy hair to allow my waves (2C) to come through with very little effort on my part. It's not super perfume-y but certainly doesn't smell bad (kind of like a nice hotel?). My hair gets clean on the first use, no need for a repeat. The price for a relatively small bottle worried me but I really think this is going to last for a long time and honestly I'm considering adding the conditioner into the mix as well to see if I like it as much.

Ive been using this shampoo and conditioner for about two years and it's my favorite for fine hair. Doesnt weigh my hair down at all and is the best product ive tried for fine hair. It can be a bit drying so I always follow up with a leave in conditoner and that does the trick. The scent isnt my fav but I can live with it, it smells like baby powder to me.

This is a highly concentrated shampoo, so you don't need to use a lot. It smells fantastic. I have fine, long hair and this leaves my hair sooooo nice! Perfect volume and it leaves my hair in great shape. Never dry, never filmy or greasy.

Leaves my ends dry and my roots oily
One of the worst shampoos I have tried in a while. I'm a big fan of many other Ouai hair products but this one falls short. I have oily hair and I work out a lot so I'm used to washing my hair every other day. With this shampoo, my hair is greasy after one day and I have to wash again. I also feel like it leaves me ends dry. I use a clarifying shampoo once a week to help with oiliness plus heat protectant when blow drying. Doesn't make a difference. Skip this one, definitely not worth $32.
