Band-Aid Brand Pro Heal 5 Day Protect Ultra-Thin Hydrocolloid Adhesive Bandages - Waterproof - Large - 6ct

I used to purchase the Band-Aid brand hydrocolloid bandages because they were noticeably better than generic versions. Unfortunately, something has changed. The frustrating part is that the bandage adheres to the wound exactly as it should. However, the outer edges begin to loosen from the surrounding skin within the first day. This creates quite the conundrum. The center of the bandage remains firmly attached to the wound, but the peeling edges collect lint, hair, and anything else they encounter. The bandage no longer feels clean enough to remain in place for multiple days. However, removing it means pulling the hydrocolloid off the wound before it naturally releases, which the instructions specifically advise against because it can disrupt the healing process. For a product marketed as a 5-day bandage, it needs to maintain its seal for significantly longer than a single day. This was once my preferred brand because it performed better than generic versions, but I will likely look elsewhere now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bandaids were ok. I’m not really impressed with the adhesion of these. They didn’t stick on either wounds that my children had. One on the shin and one on the finger. I don’t know that they helped with any healing because of that either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bandage is ultra thin for comfort and is waterproof. It delivers less scarring if worn up to five days and it stays put even under the toughest conditions. I highly recommend it and definitely would buy this again. It’s worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a blister on my heel after wearing a new pair of shoes and decided to try one of these bandages. Usually I have to replace regular bandages constantly, but this one stayed on for days, even after showering. It created protective cushion over the area and made walking much more comfortable.After a few days, the blister looked much more better and I barely had to think about it.

I cut my finger with a knife and while this bandage was bigger than what I needed it worked perfectly. It stayed in place for several days, even through showering and normal day to day activities. I like how this bandage did not peel at the edges and created a protective seal around the wound helping it to heal properly. Another big plus was not having to change the bandage daily. I would definitely recommend using this bandage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The challenge with this test is that if you don’t get cut, then there is nothing to test. We had a fall on rocks which required a bandage. Pealing the protective cover was a little tricky and the bandage did not appear to stick like a normal band-aid does. But smoothing the bandage on works and it stayed on all 5 days even after showering. As shown in the picture, the area over the cut puffs up and is white. The bandage itself is almost transparent as the picture also shows. When I removed the bandage, that area formed a thin scab. The scab disappeared a few days later. The bandage appears to work as advertised. I liked how it stayed on and that it was almost invisible. I am submitting the review now because we only had one cut 6 weeks ago. As we can test this bandage more, we will update the review.

The regular bandages just peel off after sitting and standing up a few times but this one held up for 5 days just like it said. I took a shower all 5 days and it only started peeling on the 4th day when I used the jet setting directly at it. It’s my first time using this kind of colloid patch but it left a much less noticeable scar so it won’t be my last time using it.

He had a hard time getting the bandage to stay in place for longer than 48 hours, to fully see the full effects of the product. I have not needed a bandage of this size to try it out myself, but would be interested in a smaller size for my children when they have cuts and scrapes. Overall I think it’s a good concept, it just wasn’t successful for us in what we needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bandaids are all clear. Is doesn't have the white gauze piece in the middle like normal bandaids. So if you have a bad cut that needs to soak up the blood I wouldn't recommend these but for minor scraps they would be ok for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this bandaid, I tried my cat a bath because he was looking a little dingy, and while in the process of doing that he ended up scratching me, and as soon as that happened I grabbed one of those bandaids and put one on my wrist where he scratched me. And it healed up very nicely, couldn’t even tell he scratched me at all, now my bandaid didn’t stay on for the whole five days only for one day. I will definitely be purchasing these.

They were large enough to do the job properly, stayed sticky and dry until removal, and had minimal residue upon removal. The wound healed as well as I hoped, possibly a little better. These will be a staple in my medicine cabinet from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bandaids are unique in the fact that they don’t have the absorbent “gauze pad” middle that most band aids have. That’s takes a minute to get used to, but the material in the Bandai’s is made to specifically work to heal in a different way. The design helps the Bandaid blend in to your skin better, since it’s almost invisible this way. It is comfortable and flexible. It feels like it is keeping what needs kept out, (water, bacteria, dirt) out, and what needs kept in, in. I think 3-4 days adherence is a truer life experience. The size I tried was very large, and could cover a big area at once.
