A: I read some reviewer mentioned that the filter is plastic holding the metal plate. Is this correct? I’m looking for a plastic-free one. Also, is the lid plastic-free? Is there any interior material plastic? Even if there’s no direct contact with water, any plastic material can be leeched into the water when steam reaches the inner plastic materials. Please advise.
