    Excellent sound quality overall. My only complaint is the design of the headband. When I remove the headphones and wear them around my neck, the frame frequently pinches my neck, which is surprisingly painful and makes them uncomfortable to wear in that position.

    Perfection from Bose

    Had the QCii headphones for 8 years and they still worked up to the day the tragically got accidentally damaged. I immediately replaced them with the Ultra’s and they didn’t disappoint. Here’s to another decade of amazing daily-used headphones.

    I Wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

    The 2nd gen earbuds have better noise canceling then the second Gen headphones. Are my headphones defective or are the earbuds just better someone make this make sense.

    Amazingly awesome and need another

    The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) is amazingly awesome. The immersive noise cancellation Is my favorite setting in the Bose headset. The way these headsets drowns out my outside world of 3 kids and a desired husband who requests more than I like. I’m able to enjoy music, movies, tv shows and phone calls in various sound settings from cinema, relax, walking, outdoors, etc. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a headset like Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) before. It’s also so comfortable the cushion doesn’t press hard on your ears. Plus the color is absolutely beautiful. I need it in blue.

    What i liked and did not like

    I got the headphone a week ago. So far experience has been great. Good sound quality and anc. I like the most the comfort while using it. The right amount of clamp on ears to creat physical seal with no preassure, head band does not create any pressure points on the skull, perfect cusion volume, texture and width on the head band and around ears. Perfect depth of ear cups to let ears fully inside. I also liked the quick connect to the available device once i wear it, tried this with tv and it was perfect. Liked the smooth transition to the other device (e.g. if phone rings). Liked the fact it charges while i am wearing it so i do not have to get a substitute if i have an online meeting. Liked the fact it connects as a usb headset to pc (speakers and mic). Did not like that there is no mic for usb connection to mobile phone. Did not like i have to turn it on for usb connection. I wish there is an option to control switching to a second device if it is connected already to a device, as i would like to stop its switching to phone if i am attending a meeting for example. I wish u increase anc to cancel ANY human voices around as i need this while working within a talking group at work or cafe shops. I need to be in COMPLETE silence.

    Violet midnight

    I've never heard the sound of other headphone brands, I've never bought any; I've always stuck with Bose. If I'm happy, why change? With this new model, it's like hearing some music for the first time, especially movie soundtracks. I wonder what will come next.

    Wow

    The sound quality is so amazing - I got goosebumps! I'm having to get used to wearing headphones rather than earpods and at first they felt a little bit heavy and my ears got warm - but I soon got use to it. My only criticism is that I have a fairly small head and so even on the smallest setting there are a tiny bit too big and so sit a bit low on my ears.
