So pure it's super-cleaned in a three-step process of pre-washing, heat and steam cleaning for greater purity. Soft: Standard, 15 oz.; King, 21 oz. Medium: Standard, 18 oz.; King, 24 oz.Let's talk timelines. Synthetic stuffings have an average lifespan of four years. If you have allergies, your pillow should be replaced every two years. And high-quality down can last ten to fifteen years with regular washing and fluffing. love this pillow has the bounce back of of down. Plenty of support and I’m very picky because I have to sleep with bipap machine every night and allergic to down. Going to buy another one…

Yes - the firm pillow I have been searching for...

I purchased this King Sized, Firm (not Medium) pillow about 4 weeks ago. It is exactly what I was looking for. Most pillows I use I have to move my head to try to find a new firm spot on the pillow as I wake a little and move at night. Every section of this pillow is firm, so I can simply turn over and not have to search for the firm spot. For those of you who like firm pillows, you'll know what I'm talking about. This is the best pillow I have had in decades. I'm buying two more to have on the shelf in case I can't find them again.

Ordered firm...

I ordered this as a firm pillow. It is firm..sort of. It cranes my neck in any position. So it's firm. but doe not conform to head, neck, shoulder contours at all. That being said, it's great for propping up to read in bed! I love the cotton cover. I am keeping it.

Too tall

The pillow is very well made. I ordered firm because that is most comfortable to me. However, I did not know that this pillow was at least nine inches thick, maybe more at first. I had pain in my neck and it took days to go away with heat and meds. Only used it once and don't know if I can return yet.

Very comfortable

After reading another review, I decided to purchase the firm pillow. I’m glad I did. I am a side sleeper and this firm pillow made a big difference in my sleeping comfort. My husband, who usually uses 2 pillows to elevate his head more, was equally happy with this pillow. He slept comfortably with only 1 of these pillows. I ordered a standard size pillow but wish Land’s End offered a queen size pillow to be used on queen sized beds.

The best pillows! What a treat

I bought a Medium fill for my husband, and a Firm pillow for me. Arrived promptly and in good packaging. We are very happy with the support of both styles - great for back support reading in bed, as well as sleep. We'll buy these again.

Too firm for me

I purchased this pillow in firm (first choice because I'm a side sleeper) and a standard Essential Pureloft in medium, in case the firm was too firm. Both recently arrived in fine shape. Put my favorite pillowcase on the firm and had high hopes for a solid night's sleep, but it was not to be. The pillow is too firm and too high, causing my neck/head to be at an uncomfortable angle. Halfway through the night, I switched to my old pillow. The following night I slept on the Essential medium and it was fine. Keeping the medium and returning the Pureloft Elite Firm.

Good pillow, but.....

This Pureloft Elite pillow is nice and fluffy and I was really looking forward to laying my head on it the night it arrived. Ugh...while the top layer is nice and fluffy, the inside part of it, is not. It's hard and forms kind of a lump underneath your head or in my case, my neck. I have continual problems with my neck, which is why I bought this pillow, so I had to move the pillow to the couch to lay into while watching the TV. I don't know about others, who don't have a bad neck, but I wouldn't advise people to buy it if they do. Sorry Land's End.
