Disappointed
Disappointed as it does not get as hot as my old Rowenta. Only had it a couple weeks and it’s already spitting. The design has me always hitting the spray button since I put my hand at the top of the handle. It only gives constant steam when it wants to. Have been sewing for over 50 years and quilting for 30.

Clearly inferior to previous
Not a great replacement for the 7080. Plastic parts don’t quite fit together, plate isn’t completely crimped around corners. Lots of sloppy construction details. Feels less stable when upright. Overall a knock-off of previously great Rowenta craftsmanship. Such a bummer that there’s no premier irons left.

Great for my purposes
Nice weight, easy to use. I haven’t tried steaming yet. I use starch instead of steam most of the time. I mainly iron work scrubs and bed linens.

Only brand I would ever buy
I have had various Rowenta irons for twenty years or more. This iron replaces my second iron that served me beautifully for 12 plus years. This iron is nice and heavy, provides plenty of steam and should serve me well for many years. The dial for settings is a little hard to read but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

this is a replacement upgrade from the original It is easy to use, you must do the bi weekly cleaning, and every 1 or two month soaking of teh calcium stem/ It is easy peezie Once in a while the sole plate on bottom must be cleanedwith the Rosenta package It is a great little iron and not too heavy for my short wife of about 4'8" The problem , and NO FAULT OF TARGET, or delivery, but the light that turns on to show it is heating is not working, and no we have to wait another two weeks for a replacement

Spray button located in the wrong place
Love Rowenta as a brand, but the spray button is annoying. Every time I grab the handle I erroneously spray water on my garment.

This Iron Delivers Results Quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely hate ironing with a passion but am totally thrilled with my new Rowenta iron which makes it so much easier! The iron has a great weight to it, heats up quickly and has all the features to make the task much less daunting. The power burst steam and spray both work fantastically, I've had no drips and the settings are all precise. I took it to the ultimate limit, testing it on my husband's most wrinkly shirt he never wears because it's such a pain to iron and it did an amazing job getting the wrinkles out quickly! Whether you find ironing gratifying or am like me, I definitely recommend this model for precision, satisfaction and quick ironing!

The Rowenta’s handle is extremely comfortable.

Water level
It’s hard to see the water level. That part should be clear. I’ve owned 3 Rowenta irons. The first lasted the longest. The second, I couldn’t see the water level and the protection cord swivel broke. I threw it away. My third is another old model from a thrift shop. Older models win.

I had to take a picture in the sun to see the real color. The steam features are amazing too huge buttons make it very easy to control.
