I had high hopes for the COVERGIRL + OLAY Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Defying Foundation, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me. The texture felt thick going on, and even though it’s supposed to be hydrating and smooth out fine lines, I actually felt like it settled into them more. It clung to dry patches I didn’t even know I had and looked a bit cakey, especially around my nose and chin area. I tried applying it with both a brush and a damp sponge, but neither method really made a difference. The shade match was okay, but the finish wasn’t as natural or flattering as I expected. It also didn’t hold up well throughout the day I noticed it breaking apart and making my skin look uneven just a few hours in. I really wanted to like it because I love the idea of skincare infused makeup, but this one just didn’t deliver on the promises for me. Everyone’s skin is different, so it might work for others, but sadly it wasn’t a hit in my routine.

I was about to use the makeup when i see that it has been used.. it's obvious that it was opened and used when it was given to me with my other items. It has been opened, it has been used and the cream makeup in the call cracked, like it's old, it wasn't even closed properly and the sponge was inside the makeup area, not in the storage part.. very disappointing!!! I have been using this makeup for awhile and i always purchase here and this had never ever happened to me.. it's honestly disgusting.

I have recently started using this Simply Ageless product and while I do like it, the case is absolutely the most ridiculous makeup case I have ever used! You need three hands or a counter in order to apply it and sometimes setting down the bottom of the case is not possible or practical. This case needs to be re-designed since it makes no sense!

This foundation glides onto my face and is great for my age group because it doesn't make my fine lines more noticeable. I find that a lot of other foundations sit in the small lines and make them actually look worse than they are. This one looks like your own skin but nicer. Like a photo finish. Beautiful.

I can’t get it open. I shouldn’t have to get an instrument to open it for the first time. Where are the tabs. The packaging is impossible. I don’t have time to spend 20 minutes to open it for the first time. I love the product but I can’t open it so I will go to another product line

The purple cap opens like a flap to reveal the sponge for foundation application. The glass bottom must be twisted off the purple cap to access the foundation inside. Make note of the clockwise arrow at the bottom of the purple cap; this is the direction to twist the product cap off to access the foundation. Lay the product between your palms with the purple cap facing toward the ceiling. Press your palms tightly together and twist your top palm clockwise to remove the purple cap.
