Not the Same as the Original Product

This product is now made in Ohio, whereas the original cans were labeled “Italian Roast,” “100% Arabica Coffee,” and were made in Florida. I’m not sure why the change was made, but the difference is noticeable. My husband found the new roast more acidic and didn’t enjoy it as much as the original. It’s disappointing when a favorite product is altered without explanation.

Love this coffee!

We use our stove top Italian coffee makers to make this wonderful coffee. In my opinion it's the best way to prepare this coffee. And it's inexpensive and environmentally friendly!

The best Arabica coffee!

This coffee is hard to find, which is surprising since it’s fantastic. We’ve been drinking it for at least 30 years. I’m so happy that I can. Uy it from this site & company rather than supporting a huge online merchant or the world’s largest big box store.

Medaglia D'Oro Decaf and Regular *****

Medaglia D'Oro has exactly the same flavor as we get in Italy. Over the years we have spent about three years in Italy, including six weeks annually for the past many years. Here in Los Altos we have a Mocca espresso maker and also a 15 BAR (400 PSI) Italian Espresso maker (bona-fide, 240 V). We mix decaf and regular to have 1/2 and 1/2. Tastes the same.
